Cadet Ministry ~ On this special Sunday we want to say “thank you” to our Cadet counselors – for their dedication with the Cadet ministry. We also give thanks to the faithful attendance of each boy that faithfully attendance Cadets. May these boys continue to seek and grow their faith in Jesus.
Building & Grounds would like to thank everyone who was part of the parsonage roofing project. To those who gave of their resources, financial gifts, prayers and provided lunch we say “thank you”.
High School & College Graduates ~ If you will be graduating or have graduated for the 2017 / 2018 school year, please let the church office know so that you can be included in our list of graduates for recognition.
Evening Worship Service will be held at 6 pm at our church. Tonight Pastor Ron Lugten of Hamilton Reformed will lead
the worship service. For the month of the May the services will be held at Hamilton Reformed Church.
Ladies Guild Bible Study will be meeting on Tuesday, May 1 at 10 am in the fellowship hall. We will discuss lesson 2, “Search For a Queen” from our study books.
Youth Group will meet on Wednesday, May 2 at 6:30 pm in the Youth Room. We will be having our Mother’s Day lesson.
Installation Service for our newly selected elder and deacon will be held next Sunday, May 6 at the morning worship service. We will also recognize our out-going elders and deacons.
Sunday School will meet next Sunday, May 6 and will be celebrating the Jewish Feast. This will conclude the season for
Sunday School.
Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, May 8 at 7 pm. We will discuss lesson 5, “God’s Timing Not Ours” from our study books.
Church Potluck to honor our graduates will be held on Sunday, May 20 at 12 noon in the church fellowship hall. You are
asked to bring a hot and cold dish to share; beverage and table service will be provided. Come and celebrate with our graduates.
Community Vacation Bible School will be held Monday, July 23 – Wednesday, July 25 from 6 – 8:30 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. Our church will be partnering with Hamilton Reformed Church to host VBS. Volunteers are needed to help with these three nights. A sign-up sheet is available on the Welcome Table if you would like to volunteer.
Donations ~ When doing your “spring cleaning” remember the Love INC Heart-to-Heart Resale Store with good quality
items that you no longer need. They accept donations of clothing, household items, furniture, toys, games, tools and miscellaneous items. Donations can be brought to the store (4621 – 135th Avenue) Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 5 pm and Saturday, 9:30 am – 2 pm. Your donations helps this ministry here in Hamilton to help those in need.
Love INC ~ Do you enjoy running or walking? The Rural Rush Run for Love INC will be held on Saturday, May 19 at Overisel Reformed Church. The 5k Run will begin at 8:30 am with the 1 mile fun run at 9:45 am. The runs start and end at Overisel Reformed Church. The cost for the 5K is $25 with proceeds supporting Love INC.
