April 7, 2019

Morning Service will be led by Rev. Sarah Lindstrom, who is chaplain of the Allegan County Jail through Forgotten Man
Ministry.

Evening Service will be held at 6 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. Rev. Adam Van Der Stoep will lead the time of worship. Next Sunday evening a hymn sing will be led by Nate & Friends.

Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, April 9 at 7 pm. Our lesson is, One in Christ, lesson 4 from Ephesians 2.

Fellowship Dinner will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall. The menu is beef enchiladas and this will also conclude our Fellowship Dinners for the season. The team thanks everyone for coming out for the dinners this past year and is looking forward to next year dinners with everyone.

Cadets we will meet on Wednesday, April 10 for our Cadet Auction and Awards Night at 6:30 pm. We will also meet on Wednesday, April 24 for a service project.

GRACE 360 Youth Group will meet on Wednesday, April 10 at 6:30 pm in the youth room. Our lesson is “Exploring Palm Sunday”.

Casting of Lots for the office of Deacon will be held on Sunday, April 14 following the morning service. If you are unable to attend, an absentee ballot to accept these nominations is available from any elder.

Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, April 16 at 10 am in the fellowship hall. We will discuss lesson 2 “Crying Out to God” from our study book on Psalms.

Good Friday Communion Service will be held on April 19 at 7 pm. An offering will be received for Faith Promise Mission Support. A nursery will be provided. Join us for this service as we reflect on the death of Jesus on the cross.

Easter Flowers ~ If you would like to place a flower in memory or honor of a loved one or to beautify the sanctuary on Easter, please sign the sheet at the Welcome Table. Flowers should be at church by Saturday noon, April 20.

Youth Group Fundraiser ~ Come out and support the GRACE 360 Youth Group ministry during the SHOP2GIVE. Every purchase you make at B2 Outlet Store (1111 South Washington – Holland – Family Fare plaza) will help the youth group toward their mission trip to Denver, Colorado. From April 8 to April 11 a portion of your purchase will be given to the mission trip. Spread the word and help the youth group reach their goal. Visit B2outlet.com to find out what this store is all about. You must present a coupon with your purchase which are available at the Welcome Table for the youth group to receive credit.

Volunteers Needed ~ Love INC has an opportunity for you to reach out to the children of this community. Due to faithful volunteers in the LIFE Skills program taking a break during the spring and summer session, there is a need for the following: Bible storyteller; Teacher Aide and Lead Teacher. You can choose once a week, once a month, or once a session. Whatever works best for your schedule. Contact Eloise at eloise@loveincnwa.org for information. First Baptist Church in Allegan invites you to “One Voice” a dramatic musical for Easter. Performances are Friday, April
12 and Saturday, April 13 at 7 pm each evening. Admission is free. Childcare is provided for 2-years and under.

Lent Family Faith Formation ~ As Holy Week approaches, look for opportunities to prepare your kids for what’s coming.
