Requested & Expanded Announcements

Thank you church family for your donations to the Love INC Food and Personal Needs Pantry. Your donations helped to stock the shelves for the clients we serve.

Thank you church family for your generous hearts with the Thanksgiving Offering. We give praise to God.

Evening Service will be held at Hamilton Reformed Church at 6 pm. Mr. Jack Ten Cate will lead the Advent Carol Hymn Sing. Join in in singing the songs that share the Christmas message. A special offering will be received for Love INC.

Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, December 4 at 10 am in the fellowship hall. We will discuss lesson 3, The
First Christmas. Our bible study will conclude on December 18 with lesson 4.

Grace 360 Youth Group will meet on Wednesday, December 5 at 6:30 pm in the youth room. We will have a lesson on Social Media from Colossians 3:16-17. Remember to think of a dessert to make for the Dessert Bake-off on December 12 for the fellowship dinner.

Bible Study will meet on Wednesday, December 5 at 7 pm in the fellowship hall. We will view the DVD, The Mission of Jesus, with the discussion following. We will also meet on December 19 and continue this study on January 16.

Prayer Partner Potluck will be held on Sunday, December 9 at noon in the fellowship hall. If you have signed up to pray
for a child / youth this school season you are invited to come and share a meal and connect with the child / youth whom you are praying for. Families of the Prayer Partners are welcome to this meal. Please bring a hot and cold dish to share; tableware and beverage will be provided.

Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, December 11 at 7 pm. We will discuss lesson 3, The Grace Through Faith.

Fellowship Night will be held on Wednesday, December 12 in the fellowship hall. A Christmas meal (ham, mashed
potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn and dessert) will be served from 5:30 – 6:30 pm followed by the congregation meeting. The GRACE 360 Youth Group will be having a Dessert Bake-off to top off the meal. The youth members will each be creating various desserts for you to enjoy and judge. You will be able to cast your vote by giving a monetary donation for the best dessert. The proceeds will be for the mission trip in 2019 to Colorado.

Congregational meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 12 at 6:30 pm. At this meeting the general budget for 2019 will be discussed and voted on. Prayerfully consider this budget of our church. All professing members, 18 years and older, are encouraged to attend this meeting. If you are unable absentee ballots are available from any elder.

Boy’s Cadets ~ We will meet on Wednesday, December 12 at 6:30 pm. We will have a special Christmas night. Meet at the clubhouse.

Christmas Cards for our missionaries and home church family may be placed in the Christmas mailboxes December 1 – December 12. The boxes are located in the fellowship hall. Take time and send Christmas greetings to each one.

Christmas Card Volunteers are needed to deliver Christmas cards to our home church family. If you would be willing to deliver a package of cards and bring Christmas greetings to some of our church friends let Lori know in the office.

Baby Basket ~ Let’s give a loving welcome to little Lucy Noelle Vander Bok. The baby basket is out today and December 9 and 16 so that we can shower Lucy with a warm church family welcome through our cards and gifts.

Missing from the church kitchen is the electric can opener and the 2-cup measuring cup. If you used these items from the church kitchen please return them. Also if you borrow any items from the church please contact the church office before taking them from the church.

Church Kitchen ~ If you are not sure what something is used for in the kitchen, please do not throw it away. The test strips are used to test the PH level of the sanitize water, which is required by the Health Department, are missing. These strips are very expensive to replace. Please help us out with this policy.

GATE After School Program is expanding and needs volunteers. Currently the GATE serves 6th – 8th grade students on
Tuesdays and Thursdays, but in January they will be open on Monday afternoons for 5th grade students. With the expanded hours we need new faces to add to the volunteer team. If you are interested in volunteering contact the GATE director, Cassie Alderink at thegateministry,117@gmail.com.
