Morning Service will be led by Rev. Jennifer Ryden. Rev. Ryden has just finished her second semester as chaplain of
discipleship at Hope College and is thrilled to work with the campus ministries team and honored to journey with students during their time at Hope. She has previously pastored Embody Christ Fellowship, a small RCA church plant. Prior to that she was a secondary English teacher in a variety of settings, including her last position in career and technical education. She and her husband David, just celebrated 20 years of marriage. They have three children (16, 14, and 11) and two refugee foster sons (22 and 17). They are Minnesota natives, but love living in Holland.

Evening Service ~ There will be no evening service today. Next Sunday, June 2, the evening service will be held at Bentheim Reformed Church with Rev. Jon Delger leading the service.

Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast and Parade will take place tomorrow morning. The Pancake Breakfast will be from 7
am – 9 am in the church fellowship hall. Enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee and juice. Cost is by donation with proceeds for World Renew Disaster Relief and Teen Life on Campus. At 9 am, Hamilton’s 92nd Memorial Day Parade will take place. The parade begins at the Hamilton Middle School and concludes at Riverside Cemetery with a memorial service. Come and be part of this great community tradition and honor those who have served our country. If you would like to be part of the parade an information sheet is available on the Welcome Table.

Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, May 28 at 7 pm. We will discuss lesson 7 from Ephesians 4:1-18.

Church Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, May 29 at 8:30 am at the Hawk’s Nest Restaurant. Anyone is welcome to come and have breakfast as a church family.

GRACE 360 Youth Group will meet on Wednesday, May 28 at 6:30 pm in the youth room. We will have a Father’s Day lesson from 1 John 3:1-3. Remember our summer kick-off party on June 5.

Newsletter Information for the June Observer is due today and may be placed in the newsletter box in the narthex.

Sound Techs ~ We are in need of volunteers to help run the sound and computer on Sunday mornings. If you would like to be part of the sound or computer team contact Larry or a sound person. No experience necessary; training is provided. You will be scheduled to help out in the sound booth once every 4 weeks.

Willing Hands are needed to help prepare, serve and clean-up with the Pancake Breakfast on Monday, May 27. Sign-up at the Welcome Table and be at church by 6:30 pm. We need more helpers!

All Area Veterans ~ Come and be part of the Hamilton Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 27. An accessible trailer with stairs and seating will be available for all Veterans to ride in the parade. The trailer will be located at the Hamilton High School for the parade line-up at 8 am. There will also be a return ride back to the school when the parade is complete. We want to honor all our Veterans for the sacrifice that was made for our freedom. For more information call Doug.

Ascension Day Faith Formation ~ On Ascension Day (this coming Thursday), wonder with kids about what it was like to be one of the disciples watching Jesus rising into the clouds. Wonder about what they felt and what it would be like if Jesus returned tomorrow. (Faith Formation Ministries: crcna.org/Faithformation).

Resident Support Staff for Brothers & Sisters Homes ~ The Holland Deacons’ Conference is seeking part-time Resident Support Staff to serve at Brothers and Sisters Homes in Holland. We are I need of individuals who are interested and available to work on weekends, weekdays, weekday evenings and as substitutes on an as needed basis.
