Noisy Offering ~ For the months of September and October the Sunday School children have decided that your “pocket change” will go to purchase farm animals through World Renew. Grace, Faith and Becoming Holy ~ Salvation by grace through faith is one of the most crucial beliefs at the heart of Christianity. Join Groundwork in studying Genesis 15:1-6, Romans 4:16-14, Galatians 2:15-21 to discover the biblical foundations for this belief and why it’s not a “get out of jail free card”, but a call to holiness. Hurricane Florence ~ World Renew Disaster Response Services (DRS) is responding to Hurricane Florence as the storm hits the US East Coast. DRS regional managers are working with local officials and organizations in the Carolinas and Virginia to start initial planning to send early assessment and rapid response volunteers. The fall start-up of a reconstruction site in Tarboro, NC, in response to Hurricane Matthew (2016) has been delayed by Florence. Pray for those in the storm’s path, for World Renew and for others helping the survivors. You can donate to Hurricane Florence at worldrenew.net/donate, by calling 800.552.7972 or mailing your check made out to World Renew, with “DRS Hurricane Florence” in the memo line to: World Renew, 1700 – 28th Street, SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49508.
