“In the Beginning…”

Cute-Killer-WhaleThese immortal words are the very beginning of God’s story given to us in the Bible.  The first chapter of Genesis boldly and beautifully describes God’s creation of the world.  There has been a lot of debate about Genesis 1 in the last few hundred years, and it seems to be a controversial subject wherever it is spoken.  Many people get very defensive about what Genesis 1 means, with fights and disagreements happening nearly every time it comes up.  On Sunday we will discover what the words of Genesis 1 meant to a Hebrew slave delivered from Egypt or to Jesus’ disciples.Giraffes savannah sunset
