OUR CHURCH FAMILY

Dylan Fitts is hoping to be transferred to a specialist in Ohio soon for continued testing and treatment.  Remember this family in prayer.

Judi Rice will be having thyroid surgery on Wednesday, May 4 at Holland Hospital.  Pray for the surgery and test results.

Harriet Meiste was able to return to Lakeside Vista  for continued care.

Thank you to those who supported the Church Garage Sale for the mission trip in June.

OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Morning Service will be led by Rev. Ray Vander Laan.  Sunday School for Pre-K – 4th grade will meet during the worship service for the Passover Feast;  5th – 12th grade will meet after the service.  Today will conclude the Sunday School season.

Evening Worship will be led by Mr. Kris Van Engen.  He will be sharing of the work of World Renew.

Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, May 3 at 10 am.  We will discuss lesson 3 – New Clothes.

Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, May 3 at 7 pm at Royal Park.  We will discuss lesson 4, page 51-56, Matthew 14 and 15.

Meals ~ A new meal sheet for the Walters family is on the Welcome Table.  This family greatly appreciates the meals while Zena is undergoing chemo treatments.

Graduation Potluck will be held on Sunday, May 15 at noon in the fellowship hall.  Please bring a hot and cold dish to share.

Requested & Expanded Announcements

May 1, 2016

 Fellowship Night will be Wednesday, May 11.  A pizza supper will be served from 5:30 – 6:30 pm and youth          group will meet at 6:30 pm.

Graduation Potluck will be held on Sunday, May 15 at noon in the church fellowship hall.  Join us as we celebrate Matthew McCrory’s graduation for 2016 from Hamilton High School.  Please bring a hot and cold dish to share.

Community Hymnsing led by Jack TenCate will be held at 6 pm on Sunday, May 15 in our church.  Join us in         singing the songs both old and new.

Pancake Breakfast ~ Our church will be hosting the Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast on May 30 in the church fellowship hall.  If you would like to help serve breakfast to the Hamilton Community, sign-up in the fellowship hall.  Many workers are needed to help with this project.

Newsletter for May is available in your church mailbox.  Included in this newsletter are updates from our             missionaries.

 

Coping With Loss led by Chris Gillett, Grief Support Coordinator for Wings of Hope Hospice, will meet on the first Wednesday of each month beginning May 4 at Hamilton Reformed Church from 10 – 11:30 am.  There is no charge to attend and it is an open-ended, on-going group, so no registration is necessary.  For questions contact Hamilton Reformed Church at 269.751.5145.

Teachers and Assistants are needed for Christian Preschool and Childcare.  Lakeshore Little People’s Place, a Christian non-profit, is currently hiring at all site locations.  Full and part-time (3 – 6 pm) positions are available for year- round employment.  Degree in early childhood or related field preferred and required for some positions.  Training provided and benefits available for full-time employees.  Please email resume to llpp.office@gmail.com.

The Christian Reformed Conference Grounds invites you to join for the “First Look” Fundraising dinner on Monday, May 16.  Join us in celebrating God’s faithfulness as we open up our new Worship Center for the first time.  The evening begins at 6:15 with dinner followed by a program.  For reservations call 616.842.4478.
