Love INC Backpack Thank You ~ Our children and youth are back in school and many of them have their needed backpacks and supplies thanks to you – the people who make for a terrific caring community! This year in the Hamilton and Allegan area you provided 210 backpacks, and in the Pullman area approximately 200 children benefited from your care. The smiles tell it all and the donations this year were outstanding! Special thanks to Immanuel Lutheran Church for again hosting the Hamilton / Allegan distribution and serving a free lunch to children and their parents. The Pullman Office of Love INC served as the pick-up location for their area. Please pray that each student will be blessed with a productive year of learning, and a year filled with great experiences. Thank you again ~ Love INC

Prayer Request from New Hope – Bangor, Maine
I did not mention in my most recent update that Barb, a founding member and our deacon and treasure, was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer back in May (at the age of 55). She has been undergoing chemo treatments since then, but just last week she had a major setback and has been in the hospital ever since. Her family is considering hospice, and she may only have days or hours left with us. It has been amazing to see how God has upheld her husband during this time and the love and faith evident in him in the mist of grief. As New Hope comes to mind, please pray for God to be honored and His kingdom to advance in the family’s lives (Barb and her husband have two sons) and through their interactions with others at the hospital. Please pray for Barb as you feel led, and for New Hope as a whole in this time. Thank you all. ~ Jonathan Fischer New Hope Church – Bangor, Maine
