Newsletter ~ Information for the January newsletter is due today and can be placed in the newsletter box in the narthex.

Evening Service will be held at Hamilton Reformed Church at 6 pm. Rev. Adam Van Der Stoep will lead the time of worship. Everyone is welcome to come and worship with our community brothers and sisters.

Christmas Day Communion Worship Service will be held on Tuesday, December 25 at 9:30 am. We will also celebrate Holy Communion. Join us for this special service as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and look towards his coming again. A special offering will be received for Faith Promise Mission Support.

Sr. Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, December 26 at 8:30 am at Hawk’s Nest Restaurant. Come and join for a breakfast and fellowship.

Sunday School will not meet today or next Sunday. Classes will resume in January.

Fellowship Night ~ Our next Fellowship Night will be January 9. Cadets, GEMS and Youth Group will also begin a new session.

Kid’s Corner ~ The birth of Christ is the incarnation of God in human history. Kid’s Corner presents this dramatic presentation of the miracle of Jesus as seen through the eyes of Mary! Go to www.kidscorner.net to hear the story and also check out the Christmas puzzles.

The Covenant Fulfilled ~ Did you know the book of Revelation tells the Christmas story? It’s true. Complete with dragons and intense drama. Advent Family Faith Formation ~ On this fourth Sunday in Advent, retell the events leading up to Jesus’ birth using the figures in your nativity crèche. Choose a narrator to read Luke 2:1-20 as the rest of you reenact the story.

2019 January Series ~ The award winning free liberal arts education delivered in 15 weekly, lunchtime lectures. This
year the series begins on January 3 and continues weekdays through January 23 from 12:30 – 1:30 pm with topics such as technology and faith, the church and disabilities, restorative justice, cancer research, the #metoo movement and so much more, by top experts in their fields. Thousands in west Michigan will join on Calvin College’s campus; others will watch the live feed at more than 50 remote webcast sites, while others listen online. Voices of Victory will be holding their annual Old Year’s concert on Monday evening, December 31. The concert will be
held at First Reformed Church (3060 Wilson Ave., Grandville). You are invited to come and go as you please at any time between 8 and 11 pm. Refreshments will be served. A freewill offering will be taken. Join the Voices of Victory and the Sacred Harmonies Quartet and participate in joyful audience singing throughout the evening.
