Morning Worship Service ~ This morning Pastor Jake will lead us in worship. We will continue with the series of Joshua. The scripture reading schedule for the Joshua series is available in the church newsletter.

Evening Worship Service ~ The evening worship service will be held at Bentheim Reformed Church at 6 pm. Pastor Jake and Rev. Adam Van Der Stoep of Hamilton Reformed Church will answer your questions regarding theology, scripture, church practices and procedures, faith and other questions that have been submitted. Everyone is welcome to this service to hear the answers to questions that we wonder about.

August Evening Worship Services will be held at Hamilton Reformed Church a 6 pm. Next Sunday, August 5, Rev. Adam Van Der Stoep will lead the worship service.

Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, July 31 at 7:30 pm at Joyce’s home. We will discuss lesson 10, Speeding the End. (note time change)

Garage Sale ~ The Youth Group will be having a Garage Sale on Saturday, August 25. If you have gently-used items for this sale place them in the classroom in the basement. This garage sale will help send our youth on a mission trip next summer to Colorado.

Youth Group ~ We will not be having our scheduled fun night on August 4 due to a schedule conflict. We will meet on August 12 at 7 pm for volleyball and bonfire night.

Prayer Partners ~ School will soon be starting and as a church family we want to be sure our children and youth are covered with prayer throughout the school year. If you would like to be a prayer partner to one of our children / youth sign the sheet on the Welcome Table. Before the start of school you will be given a name of which you will prayer for throughout the school year. Help cover our children and youth with prayer.

Care Packages ~ Our G.R.A.C.E 360 Youth Group is collecting items to assemble Homeless Care Packages. They will be using the care packages local and also for their Colorado Mission Trip in June 2019. They will be collecting these items throughout the school year. A list of items needed is available on the Welcome Table.

Mom2Mom Sale ~ Overisel Reformed Church is having a Mom2Mom and Back2School Kid’s Stuff Resale on Saturday, August 4, from 9 am – 1 pm. There will be various sizes of used children’s clothing, toys, baby gear, etc. at the 25 tables that are reserved. Also on site will be 6-8 consultants at vendor tables selling their items. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Admission fee is $1 per person/12+. Cash sales only.

Kid’s Korner ~ Liz and Scooter manage to lose Grandpa’s prized baseball. What can they do to make it right? Subscribe for free at getkidscorner.com. You can also download a free Bible Activity Book at www.kidscorner.net.

Join Groundwork in studying Job 4-8 to examine and test against scripture the most common questions many of us wrestle with as we try to explain and understand experiences of suffering. Christian Reformed Conference Grounds (12253 Lakeshore Dr., Grand Haven) is excited to welcome Tim Zimmerman and The King’s Brass concert on Saturday, August 4. Join for this special evening of classic hymns with a contemporary flair! The doors to the Worship Center open at 6 pm, with the concert at 7 pm. No tickets are needed however a free-will offering will be taken to help offset our music ministry. Be sure and come early as it is the Famous Chicken BBQ night. Dinner will be served in the Sunshine Room from 4:30 – 6:30 pm. Everyone welcome!

Baby Contest ~ Do you have a baby who is 24 months or younger as of August 25, 2018? If yes, enter the Right to Life of
Holland Area Precious Baby Contest / Fundraiser. To register go to www.rtlofholland.org and click on the Precious Baby Contest link. Voting for these Precious Babies will begin online on Monday, August 6 and also in person at the Right to Life of Holland Area booth at the Hudsonville Fair (August 20-25). Voting will end August 25.
