Offering ~ The children are so excited to be part of the “Noisy Offering”.  They are joyful givers and have  BIG ideas and plans to help others in need around the world.  We have decided to start out buying a  Beehive in Tanzania.  Raising bees not only provides a family with income but also improves plant    pollination throughout a whole community.  Our gift of a Beehive produces delicious honey for a family to eat and sell to purchase basic necessities like soap, medicine and shoes as well as contributing to the success of gardens and farms in the area.  The cost of a beehive is $30.  With your help we think we have  already purchased this!  Thank you church family!  Next we will work towards raising money to send a Literacy Book Set to Honduras.  Let’s keep giving “joyfully” together!

Released Time for Hamilton Elementary is in need of small group leaders.  They have about 200 Hamilton  Elementary students, 1st – 4th graders, signed-up.  This year the program will be held on Friday once a  month at Hamilton Reformed Church.  If you are interested in helping contact Amy Klanderman at                751.7580 or ham.el.rt@gmail.com.  Let us work together to share the Good News with our community!

Hamilton Area Fall Festival ~ Join the Hamilton community on Saturday, October 25 from 1-3 pm at The Hall in Overisel for a free family oriented afternoon.  There will be games, a raffle, donut eating contest,   barrel train rides and more!  There will also be a photo booth, kids can wear costumes and there will    also be props for you to use.  All proceeds from sponsorship and the raffle will benefit Love INC.  Join us  in keeping Love’s lights on!

Fanning the Flame Praying Together for God’s Mission will be held on Friday, November 7 and Saturday,  November 8 at Calvary Christian Reformed Church in Holland.  This event is interdenominational  designed for church members, students, leaders and pastors.  See the information brochures at the    Welcome Table.

Connecting for Ministry ~ The Network (crcna.org/network) is a website where you can find the answers,   tools and ideas you need to serve your congregation.  With more than 60 topics to help you connect for  ministry, resources include blogs, discussion forums, ministry Q&A, webinar recordings and more.  Go to crcna.org/network to connect today.

Reformation Sunday ~ Next week we mark Reformation Sunday by remembering our reformed identity and    celebrating the ways God continues to work in the church today.  We are always reforming, imagining   new ways to share the old story.  This week, pray for wisdom and energy to infuse Home Missions’        church planters, campus ministers, regional leaders, and other ministry partners engaged in the  exhausting and exciting work of sharing the good news of God’s grace.
