Community Service ~ Our evening service tonight will be at Hamilton Reformed Church at 6 pm. Testimonies will be given by brothers and sisters of the Hamilton area who have experienced the power and grace of God at work in their lives.
Service ~ Next Sunday morning, August 17, Rev. Thom Daubenspeck of Holland will lead our worship service.
Men’s Breakfast will be held this Saturday, August 16 from 8 – 9 am in the fellowship hall. Men of all ages are welcome to come and enjoy a great breakfast to start the day.
Baby Basket ~ Help welcome Keagan Vander Bok into our church family. The baby basket is located in the fellowship hall until August 24 for your gifts and cards. Keagan was born on July 23 to Matt & Jill Vander Bok.
Ladies Guild Bible Study season will begin Tuesday, September 16 at 10 am at church in the Council Room. Study details and calendar dates will be coming out soon. All ladies of all ages are welcome to join us in fellowship and learning.

Lakeshore Little People has employment opportunities for teacher assistants for their Christian Childcare at their new site location in Hamilton. Teacher assistants are needed for school-age children in Kindergarten – 5th grade. Morning shifts (6-9 am) and/or afternoon shifts (3-6 pm) are available. Blood Drive ~ The next Hamilton area Red Cross Blood Drive will be Thursday, August 21 from 12 noon – 5:45 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. Come to donate for a chance to win two tickets to Michigan’s Adventure. The June drive was a big success with more than 50 donors. Thank you for your support to give blood!
Love INC is in need of volunteers, small groups, Bible study groups to help provide meals for the children that come to Life Skills at Thursday evenings at Haven Reformed Church. The majority of the children that come are not fed before they arrive and the children have come to enjoy these meals. This is an opportunity to introduce table manners and participate in a sit-down meal with these children. There is an average of 15-20 children per week and the meal is served at 6:15. Volunteers would be responsible for preparing, serving and clean-up. Love INC Baby Ministry at Allegan Wesleyan Church is in need of diapers (size 4 and 5), baby wipes, hampoo and formula. If you feel led to donate baby items to this ministry, your donation may be brought to the Love INC Office in Hamilton, Monday – Friday, 9 am – 3 pm.
Love INC Backpack Ministry is in need of donations of: pencil boxes, graph paper, 3-ring binders, loose paper, protractors, 2-pocket folders, spiral notebooks and highlighters. Your donation helps to fill the backpacks for elementary, middle school and high school students to return to school for a successful 2014-2015 school year. Your support is appreciated.
Heart-to-Heart Grand Re-Opening will be on Monday, September 8 in Hamilton. The Allegan store is closing and this will be the first week the Hamilton Heart-to-Heart store is open six days a week. Fox 17’s Smart Shopper is featuring the store live at 6 am, 7 am and 8 am. Love INC needs people willing to provide breakfast and lunch for a dozen staff and volunteers (muffins, juice and breakfast casserole and lunch). Parenting Conference ~ Shepherding the hearts of God’s covenant children is one of the most important and practical ways we can fulfill the Great Commission. Make plans to attend the 2014 IRBS Conference on Parenting featuring Dr. Tedd Tripp at the Calvin Fine Arts Center on September 5-6, 2014. Gracias Honduras Mission Report will be given on Sunday, August 10 at 5 pm at the Overisel Reformed Church. The service of worship will be led by the members who went to Gracias in July. We realize many of you sponsor children in Gracias and may be interested in seeing what God is doing through World Vision and your prayers to build strong families and communities in Honduras. All are invited!
