Noisy Offering ~ Thank you church family for helping the Sunday School children collect $592.50 to purchase Christmas
gifts and food for two families through Love INC. For the months of January and February the Sunday School children wanted to bless a ministry right here in Hamilton and will be collecting your “pocket change” for the Love INC Ministry,
Youth Group ~ We will be meeting on Wednesday, January 10 at 6:30 pm in the youth room. Our lesson will be from Genesis 3, The First Sin.
Cadets will be meeting on Wednesday, January 10 at 6:30 pm at the clubhouse. We will be having a Bible lesson and working on crafts and merit badges. There will be no fellowship supper available before the meeting.
Fellowship Night ~ Due to the winter weather we have been experiencing, Fellowship Night for this week has been
cancelled. Our next Fellowship Night will be January 24 which will be the Chili Cook-Off and Bread Bake-Off.
Chili Cook-Off and Bread Bake-Off has been rescheduled to Wednesday, January 24. This means there is still time to
find the winning chili recipe and bread to enter in the contest. Sign-up at the Welcome Table to enter. Everyone will be judging the entries starting at 5:30 pm in the fellowship hall.
Building Offering ~ There will be a special offering on January 14 and 21 for the parsonage remodeling project. The Building Team is estimating that $5,500 is needed for this project. Prayerfully consider your gift to this project.
Trophies ~ If you were awarded a trophy from last year’s Chili Cook-Off and Bread Bake-Off, please return your trophy for this year’s event to any Fellowship Team member.
Camp Geneva ~ All children and youth, grades 1 – College Freshman, Camp Geneva is accepting registration for summer
camp for 2018. This year’s theme is Wonder… the wonder of God’s creation… the wonder of our faith in God… A brochure is available on the Welcome Table with registration information.
Sanctity of Life Sunday Is January 21. Right to Life of Holland Sanctity of Service and March will be held on Monday,
January 22 at Central Avenue CRC in Holland. Guest speaker will be Barb Listing, President of Right of Life of Michigan. Let us take a stand for the unborn and support the work of Right to Life of Holland as they educate people to choose life. Remember this ministry with your prayers and gifts.
Close Encounters ~ Liz’s preoccupation with his video games causes him to imagine the worst when he and Lucille get
lost in the woods. Is it really aliens from Planet Zenon? Check out Kid’s Corners “God is Faithful” Memory Jar Activity at www.kidscorner.net as you begin this new year!
The Magi ~ After Christmas, the church calendar turns to Epiphany. Join us in studying Matthew 2:1-11 to explore the
story of the Magi, whose visit marks the beginning of the season of Epiphany. Discover what this story about sharing news of a Savior with these Gentile wise men teaches us about God and his greater mission. Listen at GroundworkOnline.com and subscribed to Groundwork’s weekly emails for future episodes.

Thank you for your gift for the outreach of Back to God Ministries International. Each dollar we receive helps us to
reach people around the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ. What a difference this makes in their lives here on this earth – and for eternity! We continue to receive comments from those whose lives are impacted. Some are from right here in North America and others come from a variety of places around the globe. Many of them thank us for our ministry to them. A prisoner who reads our Today devotional writes: “I just want to say thank you for the Today daily devotional subscription. Thank you for all the time and effort involved in supplying people, inmates especially, with a devotional.” Often our followers ask for prayer, and we have a team of over 4,000 prayer partners around the world who bring these needs before our Lord. Please join us in praying that the Lord will continue to bless our ministry. And thanks again for your support.
