OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Morning Service ~ This morning we will begin our Advent journey that will lead us to Bethlehem. We will start our journey in the gospel of Luke. Pastor Jake will be leading our Advent morning worship services.
Evening Service will be held tonight at Hamilton Reformed Church at 6 pm. Mr. Jack Ten Cate will lead us in singing songs of the Christmas season. An offering for Love INC will be received.
Noisy Offering ~ The Sunday School children are collecting your “pocket change” for their Sponsor-a-Family through Love INC. They have been given a family of five to purchase gifts and a Christmas meal.
Down Home Gospel Ministry will be in concert at Bentheim Reformed Church on Sunday, December 4 at 6 pm. Come and enjoy “good old gospel songs, old time hymns and traditional harmonies”. Refreshments following the concert.
Newsletter ~ Information for the December church newsletter is due today and may be placed in the box in the narthex.
Christmas Card Mailboxes for our missionaries and home-bound church family may be placed in the “special mailbox” in the fellowship hall through December 11.

Christmas Cards ~ Remember our missionaries and home-bound church family with Christmas greetings. Cards may be placed in the special mailboxes in the fellowship hall through December 11.

Christmas Card Volunteers are needed to deliver Christmas cards to our church family. If you would be willing to deliver a package of cards and bring Christmas greetings to some of our home-bound friends let Lori know in the church office.
Fellowship Night will be held on Wednesday, December 14. A Christmas meal will be served from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. At 6:30 we will be having our congregational meeting in the sanctuary.
Collections ~ Thank you for saving your empty egg cartons for the food pantry. At this time we are well stocked with cartons and ask you to just recycle your empty cartons rather them save them for the food pantry. Also we are not colleting Spartan UPC labels for the library. Spartan changed the label program and we can no longer send these labels up for the program.
Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, December 6 at 10 am in the fellowship hall. We will study lesson 6, Understanding Jesus. At our meeting of December 20 we will be having our Christmas luncheon at Hawk’s Nest Restaurant.
Christmas Treasures ~ Start your Christmas season by celebrating the gift of Jesus our Savior. Everyone is invited to view the many different nativity sets on Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. Families, bring your children and grandchildren to hear the Christmas story. You will be able to spend a few moments at the live nativity reflecting on God’s amazing gift of love – His Son, Jesus our Savior. The children will receive small treasures to remind them of all the wonderful things that happened so long ago. There will also be refreshments and children’s activities. Everyone is welcome to come.
Down Home Gospel Music Ministry will be in concert on Sunday, December 4 at 6 pm at Bentheim Reformed Church. We will be joining Bentheim Reformed for this evening of music.
Christmas at Evergreen Commons ~ Celebrate the season with a delicious meal and the music of “Christmas Gifts!” This musical will take place on Tuesday, December 6 and Wednesday, December 7 at 11:30 am – tickets include lunch and show and Thursday, December 8 at 6 pm is a dinner and show.
