Requested & Expanded Announcements

Evening Worship Service will be held at 6 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church tonight. Rev. Tom Dekker will lead the
worship service. Rev. Dekker will be retiring as pastor of Hamilton Reformed Church on June 3 and as brothers and sisters in Christ we give thanks for the many years he has served as pastor at Hamilton Reformed and this community.

Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast and Parade will take place tomorrow morning. The Pancake breakfast will be from 7
am – 9 am in the church fellowship hall. Enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee and juice. Cost is by donations with proceeds for World Renew Disaster Relief and Teen Life on Campus (Hamilton Middle School – Sandi Nyboer). At 9 am, Hamilton’s 91st Memorial Day Parade will take place. The parade begins at the Hamilton High School and concludes at Riverside Cemetery with a memorial service. Come and be part of this great community tradition and honor those who have served our country.

Pancake Breakfast Volunteers be at church tomorrow morning by 6:30 am ready to help. We could use a few more volunteers to help – if you can help sign the sheet on the Welcome Table and be at church by 6:30 am tomorrow morning or talk with Sandi Nyboer or Michele Dykstra.

Sr. Breakfast will be held this Wednesday, May 30 at 8:30 am at Hawk’s Nest Restaurant. Anyone is welcome to come and enjoy a great breakfast and fellowship.

Youth Group will meet on Wednesday, May 30 and we will be having our Father’s Day lesson. We will meet at 6:30 pm in the Youth Room.

Summer Sunday School begins next Sunday, June 3. The children will be dismissed during morning worship to the children’s worship room. This summer the children will be learning the Ten Commandments. Thank you to those who have volunteered to teach a commandment each week throughout the summer.

Town Hall meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 6 at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall. An agenda for this meeting is available in your church mailbox.

Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, June 12 at 7 pm at Berend & Nancy’s home. Our lesson is #7, The Beautiful Judgement of God.

Concert ~ The Helmsmen will be leading in worship through a concert featuring Southern Gospel music on Saturday night, June 9. The concert will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Hamilton Reformed Church (3554 M-40). A free-will offering will be received for the group and CD recordings of the group will be available for purchase. Plan now to attend and invite some friends to this night of music!

Vacation Bible School ~ This year our church is teaming up with Hamilton Reformed for Vacation Bible School. Our first
assignment is to come up with volunteers willing to help the nights of Monday, July 23 – Wednesday, July 25, 6 – 8:30 pm. We need volunteers to help with crafts, activities, decorating, class leaders and helpers. If you would be willing to help please sign the sheet at the Welcome Table.

The Fruit of Patience ~ How can we cultivate the spiritual gift of patience in a society that prefers immediate gratification? Pantry Needs ~ The Furniture Pantry of Love INC is in need of Queen beds, Full beds, dressers and sofas. The Appliance
Pantry is in need of washing machines. If you know of anyone replacing these items, tell them to “Think Love INC”. We will be happy to pick the furniture and appliances up. Call 751.8642 to arrange for pick-up of items or dropping items off at the Love INC office.

Love INC ~ Do you know a family or individual struggling to “make life work”? Please let them know about Love INC’s
