Requested & Expanded Announcements
April 28, 2019
Morning Service will be led by Pastor Jake. We will continue with the series in the book of John. Rev. Barry Lucas, executive director of Love INC, will also give an update of the Love INC ministry.
Evening Service will be held at Hamilton Reformed Church at 6 pm. Pastor Jake will lead the time of worship. For the month of May the evening services will be held at our church.
GRACE 360 Youth Group will meet on Wednesday, May 1. Our lesson will be from James 4:8-10 on Quietness. We will not meet next Wednesday, May 8.
Cadet Sunday will be next Sunday morning, May 5. A special offering will be received for the Cadet program of our church.
Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, May 7 at 10 am in the fellowship hall. We will discuss lesson 3 – Trusting God from our study book on Psalms.
Installation Service of our newly selected deacons will be held at the morning service of May 12.
Community Vacation Bible School will be held Monday, July 22 – Wednesday, July 24 from 6 – 8:30 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. If you are available these three nights to help please sign the volunteer sheet at the Welcome Table. There is also a form for volunteers to fill out either online or return to Zena Walters listing what opportunities are available for volunteering.
Oil Change for Single Moms will be held on Friday, May 10 at Harvest Christian Fellowship from 4 pm – 8 pm. Volunteers will help out with a free oil change and fluid check while you wait. The church is located at 4670 Pine Avenue, next to the post office. To schedule an appointment call 616.377.8523. More information is available at the Welcome Table.
Donations ~ When doing your “spring cleaning” remember the Love INC Heart-to-Heart Resale Store with good quality items that you no longer need. They accept donations of clothing, household items, furniture, toys, games, tools and miscellaneous items. Donations can be brought to the store (4621 – 135th Avenue) Monday – Friday, 9:30 am – 5 pm and Saturday, 9:30 am – 2 pm. Your donations help this ministry here in Hamilton to help those in need.

Prayer for Inspire 2019 ~ Inspire 2019 is a conference to connect people from across the 1,000+ churches in the Christian Reformed Church for three days of worship, workshops, speakers and conversation. As we plan and prepare for this event, happening August 1-3 in Windsor, Ontario join us in praying for the event and all who will attend. This week pray for the technical aspects of the event. Pray that as the tech team plans and prepare, all will go smoothly and that sound systems, presentations, communications tools, lights, instruments and all other tech related elements will work well during the whole event, allowing the focus to be on the messages shared through these systems.
