Morning Worship Service ~ This morning Pastor Jake will lead us in worship. We will continue with the series of Joshua. The scripture reading schedule for the Joshua series is available in the church newsletter.
Evening Worship Service tonight will be held at Hamilton Reformed Church. Rev. Adam Van Der Stoep will lead the worship service. We will join with our brothers and sisters of Hamilton Reformed and Bentheim Reformed.
Worship Services ~ Next Sunday morning, Rev. Bill Vis will lead our morning worship service. The combined evening service will be held at Hamilton Reformed Church led by Rev. Jon Delger.
Executive and Elders meeting will meet on Monday, August 13 with Council meeting on August 20 . Remember to lift up our elders and deacons in prayer.
Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, August 21 at 7 pm. We will discuss lesson 11, Making Friends Forever.
Volunteers are needed for the Children’s Worship Ministry this upcoming season. If you would like to spend time helping our children worship on Sunday morning, please contact Pastor Jake.
Prayer Partners ~ Would you consider making a difference in the life of a child / youth here at Hamilton CRC by being a prayer partner for the 2018/2019 school year? Sign-up at the Welcome Table to become prayer partner. Before the start of school you will be given a name of which you will pray for throughout the school year.
Care Packages ~ Our G.R.A.C.E 360 Youth Group is collecting items to assemble Homeless Care Packages. They will be using the care packages local and also for their Colorado Mission Trip in June 2019. They will be collecting these items throughout the school year. A list of items needed is available on the Welcome Table.
5-Day Bible Club for children, ages 5-12, will take place in Hamilton on August 6-10 from 10 – 11:30 am at 4127 Pine Trail Lane and 1 – 2:30 pm at the Heath Township Park. Kids will hear a Bible lesson, learn songs, have games, memory verses and there will be prizes. Bring a friend and enjoy some fun! We will meet rain or shine.
Community Blood Drive will be held on Thursday, August 16 from 12 noon – 5:45 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. To
schedule an appointment, log onto redcrossblood.org (sponsor code: hamiltonreformd) or call 1.800.Red CROSS. Appointments are not necessary. Help make someone whole again by donating blood.
Prayer Service for Schools will be held on Sunday, August 26 at 6 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. This service will focus primarily upon praying for the Hamilton area school district, but all are welcome to attend. If you would like to participate in this service by leading a prayer please let Pastor Jake know at 616.437.0288 or email pastor@hamiltoncrc.com to volunteer to questions.
Kid’s Korner ~ Liz and Scooter are chosen last for the recess baseball team and Liz is furious. So he starts his own club,

Consoling the Suffering ~ Sometimes our attempts to console suffering friends and loved ones with biblical truths do more harm than good. Join Groundwork in studying Job 32-34 to discover where we might run into trouble, how we can more faithfully represent God, and more lovingly comfort the suffering. Listen at GroundworkOnline.com.
Christian Reformed Conference Grounds (12253 Lakeshore Dr., Grand Haven) will be hosting the annual Ladies Day on Wednesday, August 8. The speaker this year is Bible Study Fellowship lecturer Trisha Scholten. Trisha is passionate about pursuing Jesus and proclaiming His truth! Coffee and cookies will be served at 9:30 am, the program will be from 10 am – 12 noon. A delicious lunch will be available for $7 and served from 12 – 1 pm in the Sunshine Room. No tickets or reservations are needed, however a free-will offering will be taken to help fund some specific needs at the Grounds. All ladies of all ages are welcome to attend.
