Requested & Expanded Announcements
December 16, 2018

Evening Service will be held at Hamilton Reformed Church at 6 pm. Nate & Friends will lead a Christmas Hymn Sing. Everyone is welcome to come to sing the songs of the Christmas season.

Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, December 18 at 10 am. We will discuss lesson 4 – Good News For All People from our Gift of Christmas study books. We will also have a Christmas luncheon at the Hawk’s Nest Restaurant following the Bible study. This will also conclude our Bible study until March.

GRACE 360 Youth Group will meet on Wednesday, December 19 for our Christmas Gathering. Bring a wrapped $5 gift. Our next youth meeting will be January 9.

Bible Study will meet on Wednesday, December 19 at 7 pm in the fellowship hall. We will view the DVD, The Mission of Jesus, with the discussion following. We will continue our study on January 16.

Christmas Open House at Pastor Jake & Kris will be held on Thursday, December 20 from 6 – 8 pm. Stop by for refreshments and fellowship.

Christmas Day Communion Worship Service will be held on Tuesday, December 25 at 9:30 am. We will also celebrate Holy Communion. Join us for this special service as we celebrate the birth of Jesus and look towards his coming again. A special offering will be received for Faith Promise Mission Support.

Sr. Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, December 26 at 8:30 am at Hawk’s Nest Restaurant. Come and join for a breakfast and fellowship.

Community Blood Drive will be held on Thursday, December 20 from 12 noon – 5:45 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. To schedule an appointment, log onto redcrossblood.org (sponsor code: hamiltonreformed) or call 1.800.RED.CROSS (1.800.733.2767). Give more life, donate blood.

Kids Korner ~ Live animals on stage? 75 elementary school kids flying like angels in the air? It’s up to Lucille and Olivia
to bring Liz’s Christmas drama back to earth. And Grandpa has a story that might do just that! Listen at www.kidsdcorner.net and also try to figure out the Kid’s Korner Christmas puzzles.

The Covenant Fulfilled ~ Christmas is the culmination and fulfillment of God’s promise. Join Groundwork in exploring
the whispers of Christmas in Ezekiel 16:59-60, Luke 22:19-20 and Hebrews 8:7-10 to grasp the magnitude of God’s grace in Christ’s birth and the importance of remembering God’s covenant at Christmas. Listen at GroundworkOnline.com.

Advent Family Faith Formation ~ On this third Sunday of Advent, spend some time talking about the many ways God shows that he loves us, including sending his own Son. List as many ways as you can. Then talk about how your family can show that you love each other and how you can show love to your friends and neighbors. (Faith Formation Ministries: crcna.org/FaithFormation).
