“pocket change” adds up. For the months of January and February the Sunday School will be giving the “pocket change” to Love INC to help those in need right here in Hamilton and Allegan County.
Fellowship Night is this Wednesday, January 23. This will be our annual Chili Cook-Off and Bread Bake-Off. From 5:30 –
6:30 pm everyone can come and sample all the entries of chili and bread and then cast your vote for the “best-of-the-best” for 2019 here at HCRC. Following the voting, trophies will be presented for each category. There is still time to enter your favorite chili and bread – sign up at the Welcome Table. Plan to come for a great night of fun and fellowship. (Please note – if the Hamilton Schools are closed for the entire day due to weather then this event is also cancelled).

Kids Korner ~ Scooter forgets his promise to Liz and Lucille and tells a lie to cover it up, but one lie isn’t enough. Do
more lies lead to more trouble? Listen at kidscorner.net. You can also download the KC’s Collection of Memories Kit for a family activity.
Family Faith Formation ~ In Families at the Center of Faith Formation, John Roberto shares eight things that form faith
in the home: caring relationships; celebrating the liturgical seasons; celebrating rituals and milestones; learning the Christian tradition and applying it to life; prayer, devotions and spiritual formation, reading the Bible; serving and working for justice; and worshiping God. How is your family doing? What would you like to focus on more in this new year? (Faith Formation Ministries: crcna.org/FaithFormation).
Genuine Faith Influences Behavior ~ There’s no doubt the Apostle Paul believes the Gospel message changes people.
But Paul argues that change is not just internal, it’s external and it influences all aspects of life. Join Groundwork in exploring I Thessalonians 3:1-4:12 to see how our faith in Jesus Christ affects our behavior. Listen at GroundworkOnline.com.
