Morning Worship Service ~ This morning Rev.’s Gil & Joyce Suh, our missionaries in Cambodia, will share of their work. Joyce will also be leading the worship service and Gil will be part of the Sunday School time for the children.
Evening Worship Service ~ The evening worship service will be held at Bentheim Reformed Church at 6 pm. Pastor Ron Lugten of Hamilton Reformed Church will lead the worship service.
Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, July 17 at 7 pm at Max & Jan’s house. We will discuss lesson 9, Waiting With Hope.
Mission Update ~ Rev. Ruth Lemmen is in Michigan and would love to spend a night with Hamilton CRC. On Wednesday, July 18 from 6 – 8 pm at Holland State Park you are invited to come and catch-up with her work in China. Look for the picnic tables with balloons. Feel free to bring meat to grill and / or other picnic items and lawn chairs. Ruth will provide sides, drinks and dessert.
Church Potluck will be held on Saturday, July 21 at Tri-Ponds Campgrounds, south of Hamilton. The supper will be at 5:30 pm. Bring meat for the grill, a dish to share, table service and beverage. You can come any time in the afternoon to join your church family that is camping for the weekend.
Ask the Pastor ~ The community evening worship service on July 29 at 6 pm will feature ‘Ask The Pastor’. This is an opportunity for you to ask the participating pastors – Pastor Jake and Rev. Adam Van Der Stoep of Hamilton Reformed – questions you have regarding theology or Scripture, church practices and procedures, faith and culture, etc. You can email your question(s) to Pastor Jake at pastor@hamiltoncrc.com. You can also write your question and place it in Pastor Jake’s mailbox. On that evening our pastors will do their best to answer your question.
Address Directory ~ A new address directory has been printed and is available in your church mailbox. Extra books are available on the shelf in the narthex.
Community Vacation Bible School ~ Kids there are many Vacation Bible School weeks going on here in Hamilton. A schedule is available on the Welcome Table listing the time, place and location. This is a great way to meet friends and learn about Jesus.
Youth Director ~ The GATE Youth Center is looking for a director for their after school program. The position will be 30+ hours per week. If you are interested in this position email: thegateministry117@gmail.com.
Hungry for Christ will be having a food distribution at Haven Reformed Church on Wednesday, July 18 from 12:30 – 1:30 pm. Volunteers are needed for various tasks from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm.
Christian Reformed Conference Grounds (12253 Lakeshore Dr., Grand Haven) is excited to welcome the Mark Trammell Quartet in concert on Saturday, July 21. Everyone is invited to join for this special evening of worship and praise! The doors to the Worship Center open at 6 pm, the concert will begin at 7 pm. No tickets are needed however a free-will offering will be taken to help offset the music ministry. Be sure and come early and enjoy a delicious Roast Beef dinner served in the Sunshine Room from 5 – 6:30 pm.

Thank you for supporting World Renew through your Community Pancake Breakfast. You are helping those affected by recent disasters, both local and international. The damage has left families near and far in need of urgent help to survive and recover. World Renew Disaster Response Services is continuing to respond to hurricane damage and flooding in areas of Texas, Louisiana and North Carolina in addition to storm damage in Puerto Rico. Internationally World Renew Is partnering with local organizations to provide longer-term rehabilitation in response to major natural disasters that struck the Philippines, Nepal and Haiti. Life-saving food assistance is also being provided to Rohingya families and those fleeing conflict in Syria. Thank you for your generous support through this community project. We are amazed at the ways God has been using your gifts in the lives of many disaster survivors.
