Morning Service ~ This morning we welcome Rev. Sophat Duch to lead us in God’s Word. Rev. Duch is the associate pastor at the Cambodian Fellowship CRC. He was born in Thailand as a refugee, raised in Western Michigan and grew up in the city of Holland and his last name is Duch. Rev. Duch knows very well the meaning of being an alien, a foreigner and an exile. He has no earthly place that he truly calls home, but one thing is certain his true home is in Christ’s Kingdom. He is married to Mai Tang, going on 15 years and they have four children, Kaleb, Josiah, Katriel, and Ezra. Rev. Duch says, “This is my first time preaching for you and I look forward to be blessed by your fellowship. Thank you for this privilege. Peace.” Let’s give Rev. Duch a warm HCRC welcome this morning. This morning we will also celebrate the baptism and profession of faith of Matt Fitts and Branden Turner.
