June 3, 2018
Summer Sunday School begins today. All children will be dismissed during the morning worship service to go to the worship room located in the basement. This summer the children will be learning the Ten Commandments.
Evening Worship Service ~ For the month of June our church will be hosting the evening worship services. Tonight at 6 pm Pastor Jake will lead the time of worship. We will gather with our brothers and sisters from Hamilton Reformed and Bentheim Reformed. Next Sunday evening Rev. Jon Delger will lead the worship time.
Townhall Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 6 at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall. Agendas for this meeting are
available on the Welcome Table. All members are encouraged to attend and be updated on the Hazard Plan and the finances of the church. Childcare will be provided.
Youth Group will meet on Wednesday, June 6 at 6:30 pm. We will be having our summer kick-off time. Our mission trip is coming up, we will be leaving on June 17 to go to Ludington, Michigan.
Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, June 12 at 7 pm at Berend & Nancy’s home. Our lesson is #7, The Beautiful Judgement of God.
Youth Prayer Departure ~ The Youth Group will be departing on their mission trip on Sunday, June 17 at 5 pm. Before they leave to Ludington, Michigan, as a church family we want to cover them with prayer for their safety, health, work projects and that they may shine for Jesus. Anyone who would like to send them off with prayer should be at church at 4:45 pm for this time of prayer.
CRCNA Synod 2018 is being held this week Thursday, June 7 – Thursday, June 14. Pray for the delegates, staff and deliberations at Synod 2018. Approximately 600 delegates and staff of the CRC and the RCA will gather on the campus of Calvin College to partner for global impact for the Glory of God. Synod 2018 Worship Service will be held on Sunday, June 10 at 7 pm at the DeVos Center for Arts and Worship. All area CRC members are invited to join the delegates from the two synods for “All For the Sake of the Gospel”, a community-wide worship service. Dr. Ajoy Kumar Lama, the Words of Hope and Back to God Ministries International director for South Asia, will provide the message based on I Corinthians 9:22-23.
Concert ~ The Helmsmen will be leading in worship through a concert featuring Southern Gospel music on Saturday night, June 9 at 7 pm. The concert will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Hamilton Reformed Church (3554 M-40). A free-will offering will be received for the group and CD recordings of the group will be available for purchase. Plan now to attend and invite some friends to this night of music!
Right to Life of Holland Area invites you to hear Mary Verwys, founder of Garden of Hope, a ministry that works on the
sidewalk in front of an abortion clinic in Grand Rapids, She will be sharing the work of Garden of Hope and stories of LIFE. The program will be followed by refreshments of Rootbeer Floats. The program will be held on Thursday, June 14 at 7:30 pm at Holland Right to Life (607 Heritage Court, Holland). For more information or to let know you would like to attend call 616.396.1037.

Pantry Needs ~ The Furniture Pantry of Love INC is in need of Queen beds, Full beds, dressers and sofas. The Appliance
Pantry is in need of washing machines. If you know of anyone replacing these items, tell them to “Think Love INC”. We will be happy to pick the furniture and appliances up. Call 751.8642 to arrange for pick-up of items or dropping items off at the Love INC office.
