Requested & Expanded Announcements
November 25, 2018

Worship Services ~ This morning Pastor Jake will lead us in worship. Our evening service at 6 pm will be a hymn sing led
by Nate & Friends. Next Sunday morning we will begin the Advent Journey to Bethlehem.

Sr. Breakfast will be held on Wednesday, November 28 at 8:30 am at the Hawk’s Nest Restaurant. Anyone who would like to begin their morning with a great breakfast and fellowship is welcome to come.

Grace 360 Youth Group will meet on Wednesday, November 28 at 6:30 pm in the youth room. We will have a lesson on Outreach from Romans 10:12-15. This Saturday, December 1, 10 – 11:30 am, we will be going to the Holland Rescue Mission to do games and crafts with the kids.

Boy’s Cadets will meet on Wednesday, November 28 at 6:30 pm in the Cadet Building. We will have a Bible lesson and work on merit badges and crafts. Our Christmas party will be December 12.

Community Carol Sing will be held on Sunday, December 2 at 6 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. Mr. Jack Ten Cate will lead the singing. A special offering will be received for Love INC. Join for this service to begin the season of anticipation of the birth of our Savior.

Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, December 4 at 10 am in the fellowship hall. We will discuss lesson 3, The First Christmas. Our bible study will conclude on December 18 with lesson 4 and a Christmas luncheon at Hawk’s Nest Restaurant.

Bible Study will meet on Wednesday, December 5 at 7 pm in the fellowship hall. They will view the DVD, The Mission of Jesus, with the discussion following. We will also meet on December 19 to conclude this study.

Prayer Partner Potluck will be held on Sunday, December 9 at noon in the fellowship hall. If you have signed up to pray for a child / youth this school season you are invited to come and share a meal and connect with the child / youth whom you are praying for. Families of the Prayer Partners are welcome to this meal. Please bring a hot and cold dish to share; tableware and beverage will be provide.

Fellowship Night will be held on Wednesday, December 12 in the fellowship hall. A Christmas meal will be served from
5:30 – 6:30 pm followed by the congregation meeting. The GRACE 360 Youth Group will be having a Dessert Bake-off to top off the meal. The youth members will each be creating various desserts for you to enjoy and judge. You will be able to cast your vote by giving a monetary donation for the best dessert. The proceeds will be for the mission trip in 2019 to Colorado.

Congregational meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 12 at 6:30 pm. At this meeting the general budget for 2019 will be discussed and voted on.
Christmas Cards for our missionaries and home-bound church family may be placed in the Christmas mailboxes December 1 – December 9. The boxes will be located in the fellowship hall.

Newsletter ~ Information for the December church newsletter are due today and may be placed in the newsletter box located in the narthex.

Baby Basket ~ We are happy to welcome Lucy Noelle Vander Bok into our church family. You may place your welcome gifts / cards in the baby basket located in the fellowship hall the next three Sundays, December 2, 9 and 16.

Missing from the church kitchen is the electric can opener and the 2-cup measuring cup. If you used these items from the church kitchen please return them. Also if you borrow any items from the church please contact the church office before taking them from the church.

Church Kitchen ~ If you are not sure what something is used for in the kitchen, please do not throw it away. The test strips are used to test the PH level of the sanitize water, which is required by the Health Department, are missing. These strips are very expensive to replace. Please help us out with this policy.
