Pray this week for the many needs of this world. Pray for those who were affected by Hurricane Matthew. Pray for the upcoming presidential election. Also give thanks to God for the beauty of the fall scenery and as the harvest is brought in.
OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Morning Service ~ This morning Pastor Jake will lead us in our community series on Revival. We will also celebrate the profession of faith of Sarah Linkous.
Sunday School ~ Pre-K – 5th grade will be dismissed during the morning worship; Middle School and High School classes will meet in the Youth Room following morning worship.
Evening Worship will be held tonight at 6 pm at our church. Pastor Jake will lead us in worship.
Reformation Service ~ Next Sunday evening our church will host the Community Reformation Service at 6 pm. Join with our brothers and sisters from Hamilton RCA, Overisel CRC, Bentheim RCA, and Gibson CRC.
Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, October 25 at 7 pm at Royal Park Atrium. We will discuss lesson 8, pages 83-85.
Fellowship Night ~ Our High School Youth Group will be hosting our next Fellowship Night on Wednesday, October 26. A meal will be served from 5:30 – 6:30 pm with the auction following. Take time to see some of the items that will be auctioned off in the fellowship hall.
Newsletter ~ Information for the November newsletter is due today and may be placed in the newsletter box in the narthex.
Building Project Calendar – On Saturday, November 5 the carpet in the fellowship hall, church office, entrance and nursery will be taken out. If you are available to help with this project please come. We will start the work at 8 am and work until complete. We need many hands.

Community Series ~ Together with Hamilton, Haven and Dunningville RCA; Gibson CRC and Diamond Springs Wesleyan we have looked at the book of Nehemiah and the theme of Revival.

Youth Dinner & Auction will be held this Wednesday, October 26 in the church fellowship hall. The dinner will be available from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. The auction will begin at 6:30. Items are still being accepted for the auction. If you have an item you would like to donate please contact Zena Walters or Sandi Nyboer. This evening is to help the youth group with their New York Mission Trip for 2017.

Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, November 1 in the fellowship hall. We will study lesson 4, “Friends and Enemies”.
Carpet Volunteers ~ On Saturday, November 5 our building project calendar is to remove the carpet in the fellowship hall, church office, entrances and nursery. We are in need of anyone who is willing to help with this project. We will start at 8 am and work until the project is complete.
Are You Fall-O-Ween Jesus Kids Event ~ On Monday, October 31 from 6 – 7:30 pm, Haven Reformed Church will host a community-wide indoor event. This is a safe alternative to trick-or-treating. Contact Pastor Phil Knoll at phil@havenchurch.com with any questions.
LOVE INC ~ Our Sponsor-A-Family program is now open to our clients and we are looking for families in our communities who would be willing to sponsor a family in need with Christmas gifts. We will match the size of the client family to meet the needs of each sponsor. By signing up early, sponsors are able to shop before the rush and catch all the great sales. Gifts do not need to be wrapped and will need to be brought to Dunningville Reformed Church between December 5-7. If this year has been a blessing to you and you would like to bless the lives of others, this is a great way to do just that! Lakeshore Little People, a Christian Childcare, is hiring for a Lead Teacher in the Young Preschool classroom at the Hamilton site. Responsibilities include teaching and planning daily activities and parent communication. This is a full-time position with benefits. Applicants must have a valid child development associate credential (CDS) or associate’s degree in early childhood education or child development. Graafschap CRC will be making pig-in-the-blankets on Tuesday, November 8. You can call the Graafschap church office at 616.396.5008 from 9 am – noon to place your order. Cost is $11 per dozen. Orders can be picked up at the church on Tuesday, November 8 from 9 am – 6 pm.
Focus on Life Benefit Dinner will be held on Tuesday, October 25 at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville. Punch is at 6:30 pm with dinner and program at 7 pm. The guest speaker is Rebecca Kiessling. For tickets contact the Holland Right to Life office at 616.396.1037.
