OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Morning Service ~ This morning Rev. Rick Christy will lead us in worship. Next Sunday Rev. Barry Lucas of Love INC will lead us in worship.

Evening Worship Service for the month of November will be held at Hamilton Reformed Church at 6 pm. Tonight Rev. Tom Dekker will lead the worship service.

Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, November 7 at 7 pm at Garry & Marian’s house. We will begin our new book, The End Times, lesson 1. If you would like to join this Bible Study contact Joyce Schaap for a study book.

Thanksgiving Fellowship Night will be held on Wednesday, November 8. A thanksgiving meal will be served from 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall followed by fun and games. Cadets and Youth Group will meet 6:30 – 7:30 pm. If you plan to attend, please sign the sheet at the Welcome Table today.

Youth Group ~ We will be going to the Holland Rescue Mission on Saturday, November 11. Meet at church at 4 pm.

Thank You ~ Our church was able to collect 101 cake mixes for the Love INC in Pullman for their Thanksgiving baskets. Great job HCRC!

Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, November 7 at 10 am in the fellowship hall. We will be discussing lesson 3 – Christ’s Attitude…and Ours.

Fellowship Night will be Wednesday, November 8 in the church fellowship hall. A Thanksgiving meal will be served from 5:30 – 6:30 pm with fun and games at 6:30 pm; Cadets and Youth Group will meet starting at 6:30 pm. If you plan to attend please sign the sheet at the Welcome Table today.

Prayer Partner Potluck will be held on Sunday noon, November 12 in the fellowship hall. If you have been assigned a child / youth to pray for this school season you are invited to come share a meal and connect with the child / youth whom you are praying for. Families of the Prayer Partners and the children are also welcome to this meal. Please bring a hot and cold dish to share; table service will be provided.

Noisy Offering ~ For the months of November and December the Noisy Offering will be going towards the Love INC Sponsor-a-Family. The Sunday School has received a family of four to purchase Christmas gifts and food for. With your “pocket change” we can help make someone’s Christmas a little brighter. The Sunday School also thanks you for helping them purchase wheelchairs for people in Nigeria and farm animals.

Food Pantry & Personal Needs Pantry ~ Donations for these two pantries can be placed on the table in the fellowship hall through November 23. A list of items needed is available on the Welcome Table.

CPR Class ~ Are you interested in taking a one-night class on CPR through American Red Cross at our church? Sign-up at the Welcome table and indicate what evening works best for your schedule. A volunteer from the American Red Cross will be leading the class. The class is free, but if you want to become certified there is a $20 charge.

Love INC ~ Do you want to help your neighbor? Life Skills Participants and their children need Christians willing to give of their time and talents. Join us on November 13 at 6:30 pm at the Hamilton Love INC office to explore how you can serve through Love INC. Volunteers wishing to become mentors will need to attend two weeks (November 13 and 20). Please contact Jean at 269.751.2533 or loveincje@frontier.com to register.

Life Skills’ Children’s Ministry needs volunteers. Love INC’s goal is to provide a Children’s Ministry program
that offers a Godly environment and VBS structure that encourages children to grow their faith. We need more volunteers to continue to offer this program. Volunteers can choose the number of times they volunteer per month or 12-week session. Training, class material and activities provided. The Love INC Heart-to-Heart Resale Store in Hamilton is willing to accept donations of all kinds. They can be brought to the store Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm; and Saturday, 9 am – 2 pm. The Heart-to-Heart Store will be having their Christmas Open House on Wednesday, November 9.

Hurricane Response Update ~ World Renew is sending volunteers in Christ’s name to help with clean-up and home repairs in Texas and Florida. Disaster Response Services personnel are on their way to Puerto Rico, securing volunteer opportunities for churches and offering services in recovering communities. Through unmet needs assessments, building estimating and reconstruction. World Renew is committed to supporting local communities in their recovery efforts. This ministry is made possible by more than 2,300 volunteers. World Renew is not often the very first organization on the scene; we are very often the last to leave.
