Zena Walters will be having her second round of chemo on Monday. Continue to lift her and the family in prayer that the tumors will shrink and the side-effects minimium.

Wilma Schierbeek will be having outpatient surgery on Monday. Remember her in pray for a complete recovery.

OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Morning Service will be led by Pastor Jake. Today we celebrate Christ the King Sunday. Pre-K – 4th grade will be dismissed for Sunday School and begin practicing for the Christmas program. Middle School and High School students will meet following morning worship.

Evening Service ~ Pastor Jake will continue The World Belongs to God series. Join us for this time of worship.

Thanksgiving Service, A Time for Everything, will be held on November 26 at 9:30 am. A thank offering will be received at this service. Envelopes for this offering are available on the Welcome Table and in the pew racks and a list of ministries to consider for your thank offering.

Community Christmas Carol Hymn Sing will be held next Sunday evening, November 29 at 6 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. Join us we join in one voice to sing the songs of the birth of Christ.

Christmas Card Mailboxes for our missionaries and church family who are unable to worship with us each Sunday may be placed in the “special mailboxes” until December 13.

Noisy Offering ~ Your extra “pocket change” is very much appreciated by the Sunday School children to help purchase gifts for the family they are sponsoring through Love INC. With this change they will be able to provide Christmas gifts and dinner for a mother and four children.

Newsletter ~ The December newsletter articles are due on today and may be placed in the newsletter box  in the narthex.

Thanksgiving ~ A Thanksgiving Service will be held on November 26 at 9:30 am. At this service you are invited to bring your offering of thanks. A list a ministries for you to consider and envelopes for this offering are available on the Welcome Table and in the pew racks. Any undesignated gifts will go towards the General Fund Ministry.

Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, December 1 at 10 am. We will study lesson 6 – The Man Who Wouldn’t Quit.

Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, December 1 at 7 pm at Royal Park Atrium.   We will discuss Lesson 3 – Matthew 5, 6, & 7.

Fellowship Night will be Wednesday, December 9. A Christmas dinner will be served from 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall. The congregational meeting will follow the dinner.

Congregational meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 9 at 6:30 pm. At this meeting we will be voting on the General Budget for 2016. A copy of the budget and a letter of explanation is in your church mailbox. If you are unable to attend the meeting, absentee ballots are available from any elder.

Love INC Pantries ~ Remember your donations for the Food, Personal Needs and Baby Pantries of Love INC.  Your donations may be placed on the tables in the fellowship hall until November 29. Help stock the shelves of these pantries for the winter season.

Christmas Tree Lighting ~ Hamilton Dentistry and Hamilton Lion’s Club invites you to celebrate the Christmas season on Saturday, November 28 at 7 pm at the Hamilton Medical Center. Cookies and hot chocolate will be provided along with Christmas caroling to follow the tree lighting. All are welcome!

Right to Life of Holland Area’s 13th Annual Auction will be held in a new location and for one night only! It will be held at the Holland Fish & Game Club in Zeeland on Thursday, December 3 from 5 – 8 pm and will be a silent auction.

Love INC Basic Training will be held on Monday, November 30. Anyone interested in exploring the option to mentor or lead a class at Life Skills or in the Allegan jail please contact Jean at loveincje@frontier.com. Training will be November 30 and December 7 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Love INC Hamilton office. “If not me and you…then who?” These words come from Matthew West song, “Do Something”. Please take some time to look up this song on YouTube and give yourself the opportunity for God to call you to where He wants you to serve Him!

Allegan Jail has given their consent to form a Faith Pod for women. This will be the first time that Allegan Jail has had the room and resources to allow Love INC and Forgotten Man Ministries to reach into the women’s section of the jail. If God has given you a calling to reach women in jail you can register for your training by contacting Jean at loveincje@frontier.com or 269.751.2533.

Give Hunger the Boot ~ The Overisel Fire Department will be at the intersection of 142nd and 48th Street on November 27 from 8 am – 3 pm helping Hungry for Christ with the “Give Hunger the Boot” campaign. If you are driving out that way on Friday remember to stop and give them your change. “It’s because of your generosity that we are able to help end hunger in our back yard.”

Today is Chaplain Sunday ~ The CRCNA chaplains are specially trained men and women who serve in hospitals, hospices, counseling agencies, long term care facilities, correctional facilities, community service agencies, Veterans Affairs centers, the military and the workplace. They touch hundreds of lives every day with the presence and love of Christ. Our network of chaplains stretches literally from the prison to the Pentagon. Whether in a care center or on a battlefield, our chaplains have served with courage and distinction over the course of the last century.
