Zena Walters is recovering following the colon surgery on Monday. She is hoping to come home this weekend. Continue to pray for her that her test may show good results.

OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Morning Service ~ This morning Pastor Jake will lead us in worship. We will be learning from Acts 28. Next Sunday we will begin our Advent journey to Bethlehem, Longing For… based on the book of Isaiah.

Evening Worship Service will be held at Hamilton Reformed Church at 6 pm. The service will be led by Rev. Adam Van Der Stoep. Next Sunday, December 3 at 6 pm, will be the Advent Carol Sing at Hamilton Reformed Church led by Mr. Jack Ten Cate. Join us as we sing the songs of Christ.

Sr. Breakfast will be held Wednesday morning, November 29 at 8:30 am at Hawk’e Nest Restaurant. All “seniors” are welcome to come for breakfast and fellowship.

Congregational Meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 13 at 6:30 pm to vote on the General Budget for 2018. A copy of the budget is available in your church mailbox. Council encourages all professing members 18 years and older to attend this meeting. If you are unable to attend, absentee ballots can be obtained from any elder.

Fellowship Night will be held on Wednesday, December 13. A Christmas Dinner will be served in the fellowship hall from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. The congregational meeting will follow at 6:30 pm.

Newsletter ~ Information for the December church newsletter is due today and may be placed in the newsletter box in the narthex.

Sunday School will not meet this morning due to Thanksgiving weekend. We will meet December 3 and begin our Advent series, Way to Bethlehem.

Cadets will be meeting on Wednesday, November 29 for a special night. We will be doing a special project and having a fun night. Meet at the clubhouse at 6:30 pm. Any boys in grades 1st – 5th are welcome to be part of this group.

Youth Group we will be meeting on November 29 and begin with our first Christmas lesson – Gold.

Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, December 5 at 10 am in the fellowship hall. We will be discussing lesson 5 – Pressing On Towards the Goal.

Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, December 5 at 7 pm at Max & Jan’s house. We will discuss lesson 3 – Signs of the Times.

Congregational meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 13 at 6:30 pm. We will voting on the General Budget for 2018. A copy of this budget is available in your church mailbox.

Advent and Christmas Concert & Sing-Along with the Silvertones will be held on Friday, December 1 at 2 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church Fellowship Room (barrier-free). The Silvertones is a small band that will be playing a blend of religious and secular Christmas songs. Come expecting to enjoy a time of good music, good fellowship and good refreshments. Also come expecting to do some singing. People of all ages are invited to attend. The concert is expected to last approximately one hour.

Community Advent Carol Sing will be held on Sunday, December 3 at 6 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. Mr. Jack Ten Cate will lead the audience in a community chorus of carols. Join next Sunday evening for this tradition of the greater Hamilton faith community. An offering will be received for Love INC.

Down Home Gospel Ministry will be in concert on Sunday, December 10 at 6 pm at Hamilton Christian Reformed Church. Come and enjoy “good old gospel songs, old time hymns and traditional harmonies.” Everyone is welcome. An offering will be received for the Down Home Gospel Ministry.

Hosts are needed for the High School Youth Group on January 3, February 7 and March 7. A host would be asked to provided refreshments and share either a favorite Bible passage and why it is special or a testimony about walking with Jesus. If you are interested in hosting a night please contact Pastor Jake.
