Congratulations to Rebekah Nyboer and Matthew Nyboer on their graduation from Grand Valley State University yesterday. Rebekah will be working at Macatawa Bank and Matthew will be working at Gentex.
Tom Tucker will be having surgery on December 19 for an aneurysm. Keep Tom and Marge in your prayers as they prepare for this surgery.
OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Morning Service ~ This morning our Sunday School children will present the Christmas program, The Shepherds Wonder.
Evening Service will be held tonight at our church. We welcome Mr. Maxwell Nkansah to lead us in worship.
Tonight ~ If you would like to go Christmas Caroling with Hamilton Reformed, meet at their church at 4:30 pm. They will be taking the bus to go caroling to a few area homes.
Next Sunday evening the DVD, The True Meaning of Christmas, from That The World May Know Ministry will be shown for the evening service at 6 pm.
Fellowship Night will be held this Wednesday, December 14. A Christmas dinner (ham, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, vegetable, salad and desert) will be served from 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall.
Cadets will meet on Wednesday, December 14 at 6:30 pm in the clubhouse. We will be having our Christmas party.
Congregational meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 6:30 pm. We will be voting on the General Budget for 2017. A copy of this budget is available in your church mailbox. If you are unable to attend the meeting, absentee ballots are available from any elder. All professing members, 18 years and older, are encouraged to attend.

Tonight for our evening service, Mr. Maxwell Nkansah will lead us in worship at 6 pm. Mr. Nkansah was born in the Akwapim region in Ghana and then moved to the United States. He is married with three children and is a second year student at Western Theological Seminary and is most interested in pastoral-care and family life. His main focus is inter-generational relationships within the family. He has worked in hospitality management on college campuses in the eastern part of this country. He enjoys meeting and developing relationships and serving people. Join us tonight for this service and welcome Mr. Nkansah to HCRC.

Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, December 20 at 10 am in the fellowship hall. We will study Lesson 7, Winning and Losing. Following the Bible study we will have a Christmas luncheon at Hawk’s Nest Restaurant.
Sunday School will not meet the remainder of this year for Christmas break. We will resume Sunday School on January 8.
Christmas Cards ~ Remember our missionaries and home-bound church family with Christmas greetings. Cards may be placed in the special mailboxes in the fellowship hall through December 11. The cards will be mailed out to our missionaries and delivered to our home-bound family this week.
Food Pantry is in need of volunteers to distribute food to the Love INC clients. Pantry hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9:30 am – 12:30 pm and Thursday, 5 – 6 pm. If you would like to volunteer in the food pantry contact Paul or Teresa Nyboer.
Found some articles of clothing that have been left at church for the past few months. These items are hanging on the coat rack in the narthex near the restrooms. Please check if these items may belong to you. Unclaimed items will be donated to Love INC.
Christmas Concert featuring “International Christian Pianist” Jim Hendricks will be held on Wednesday, December 14 at 2 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church. An incredibly gifted pianist, Jim has served as Professor of Music at Chicago State University and has performed on ABC, CBS, TBN, and PAX. He was also on tour with the Glenn Miller Orchestra and made three appearances at the Crystal Cathedral. He has competed in numerous international piano competitions and has made thirteen piano recordings. A free-will offering will be received at the concert.
