Digital Library ~Forty:  Devotions for Lent” is available free to all in the CRC through the Digital Library (crcna.org/Library).  This devotional explores the biblical motif of “forty” through the stories of Noah, Moses, the exodus, Elijah, and Jonah.  All of these narratives foreshadow the gospel – they are reminders of Easter morning in the light of the “forties” that have come before.

Inspire 2017 is a conference to connect people from across the 1,000+ churches in the Christian Reformed Church for three days of worship, workshops, speakers and conversation.  As we plan and prepare for this event, happening August 3-5 in Detroit, Michigan please join us in praying for the event and all who will attend.  This week, pray for keynote speaker Harvey Carey.  Pray that God will inspire him as he plans his message and prepares for Inspire 2017, and for conversations he will be part of at the event.

Annual Day of Prayer ~ Join members of the Christian Reformed Church nearby and around the world in prayer on Wednesday, March 8, the denominational Annual Day of Prayer.  Gather with your church family or pray individually, asking God’s blessing upon the world, our nation, crops and industry and the church worldwide.

Focus on the Cross ~So, what are you going to give up for Lent?”  Has anybody ask you that question? Lent does involve self-denial, but it’s much more.  It’s a season to focus on the hope of Jesus Christ.  Refresh, Refocus and Renew your faith during Lent.  The Today Devotional are available on the Welcome Table as you make your Lenten journey to the cross.

Thank You Hamilton CRC very much for your continued faithfulness in giving to and serving alongside Love In the Name of Christ.  Your love and service are an inspiration and bring Glory to God!  ~Love INC Board
