Dylan Fitts is at Helen De Vos Children’s Hospital undergoing tests. Remember him in prayer and for the doctors and that the test may determine what is going on.
Remember those of our church family in need of prayer for physical needs, spiritual needs, relationships and other needs that God knows, but we just need to pray.
OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Installation Service this morning for our new elder Kim Van Order and deacon Mark Nyboer. We also give thanks to Elder Larry Meiste and Deacon Matt Walters for their service on Council the past three years.
Sunday School for Pre-K – 4th will meet during the worship service. Next Sunday we will celebrate the Passover Feast. The 5th – 12th grade class will meet following the service. May 1 will conclude our Sunday School season.
Evening Worship will be held in the fellowship hall. We will be discussing John 20.
Fellowship Night will be held this Wednesday, April 27. We will be having a Lasagna meal from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Cadets and Youth Group will meet at 6:30 pm.
Newsletter information for the May Observer is due today and may be placed in the newsletter box in the narthex.
Church Garage Sale will be held on Thursday – Saturday, April 28, 29 and 30 from 8:30 am – 6 pm in the Cadet Building. Come and check out all the great items. The proceeds from this sale will be for the Church Mission Trip to Logan, West Virginia. If you have items to donate you can place them in the east entry way (facing 47th Street) until Wednesday.

Fellowship Night will be held Wednesday, April 27 . A supper of Lasagna, garlic bread, salad and dessert will be served from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Cadets and Youth Group will meet at 6:30 pm.
Church Garage Sale will be held this week Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 8:30 am – 6 pm in the Cadet Building. Come and check-out all the great items. The proceeds will be for the Mission Trip to Logan, West Virginia in June.
Next Sunday , May 1, Rev. Ray Vander Laan will lead our morning worship service and Rev. Kris Van Engen of World Renew will lead our evening worship and will share of God’s love through the work of World Renew.
Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, May 3 at 10 am in the Council Room. We will study lesson 4 – New Clothes from our study book on Colossians.
Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, May 3 at 7 pm at Royal Park. Our lesson is 4 on pages 51-56 from Matthew 14 and 15 .
Please Save your empty egg cartons for the food pantry. You can place the cartons in the donation box in the fellowship hall. This is a continuous need for the food pantry.

Bible League Spring Luncheon will be held on Thursday, April 28 at 12 noon at Harderwyk CRC (1627 W. Lakewood Blvd.). Lunch will be catered by James Street Inn and will be $8 per person. The speaker will be Von Genzink, local author who will share real world experiences from her book, “Mountains of Mercy”. Von will encourage you to trust God when life seems overwhelming. For reservations contact Loie Capel at 751.2701 by April 25. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Coping With Loss led by Chris Gillett, Grief Support Coordinator for Wings of Hope Hospice, will meet on the first Wednesday of each month beginning May 4 at Hamilton Reformed Church from 10 – 11:30 am. There is no charge to attend and it is an open-ended, on-going group, so no registration is necessary. For questions contact Hamilton Reformed Church at 269.751.5145.
Teachers and Assistants are needed for Christian Preschool and Childcare. Lakeshore Little People’s Place, a Christian non-profit, is currently hiring at all site locations. Full and part-time (3 – 6 pm) positions are available for year- round employment. Degree in early childhood or related field preferred and required for some positions. Love INC ~ Has God laid a burden on your heart to help people in your community? If so, Love INC will provide the place, training and material. You chose if your schedule allows once a month, once a 12-week session, every other week, or just when your schedule allows. The Life Skills program is in need of people to provide the meal, lead a class, mentor, children ministry leaders and helpers, or help at the front desk greeting people. Right to Life of Holland Walk for Life will be held on Saturday, April 30 at 10 am at Lawrence Street Park in Zeeland. Pledge sheets are available at www.rtlofholland.org or by calling 616.396.1037. Walkers and runners with pledges will be entered into the prize drawings and all walkers who raise $50+ will receive a t-shirt, all runners will receive a finisher medal and children will receive a special medal. Come and walk / run for the unborn.
