Love INC is in need of volunteers with administrative skills that can work 3-5 hours doing work for the Life Skills Program. Basic word, excel and computer skills along with a heart to serve others is all that you need. Contact Jean at loveincje@frontier.com or 751.2533 if you would like to volunteer for this ministry.
Love INC Community Service ~ The Hamilton Area Love INC Community Service will be held on Sunday, June 7 at 6 pm at Overisel Reformed Church. Dr. Virgil Gulker, founder of Kid’s Hope USA and Love INC will be speaking on the topic: Churches That Walk the Talk. Research conducted by Virgil’s students at Hope College reveals that over 50% of our youth are leaving the church. They blame that exodus on churches that seem far better at professing faith in the sanctuary than practicing that faith in the community. There will also be client testimony to better understand how Love INC helps mobilize churches to “Walk the Talk” partnering with prayer, personal time and funds.
Memorial Day Parade in Hamilton will be held on May 25. The parade will start at the Hamilton Middle School and precede down 136th and conclude at the Riverside Cemetery with a memorial service. Line-up for the parade begins at 8 am at the Hamilton Middle School. Military veterans are encouraged to be part of the parade. Decorate your bikes, antique tractors, horse and military vehicles can all be part of this great Hamilton parade.
Summer Camp ~ Need a place for your school-aged kids this summer? The Great Escape Day Camp may be your option. Back to God Ministries International ~ Rev. Kurt Selles, (BTGMI director), writes “We are so grateful for your faithful support of Back to God Ministries International. Your gifts make it possible to proclaim the Gospel, disciple believers and strengthen the church worldwide through media ministries. May I bring you thanks from Kumsar, a former Hindu who lives in central India, “I grew up worshipping idols. Then I started listening to your Christian programs where I learned about the living God. My family and I thank you for such soulful programs which enlighten us.”
