Margaret Scholten is receiving therapy at Rest Haven Care Center (40th Street – Holland) following her hip surgery and hopes to return home this week.
OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Morning Service ~ This morning the Youth Mission Team will lead us in worship and share of their week at Staten Island, New York.
Fellowship Time follows the morning service. The Youth Mission Team will be serving Ice Cream Sundaes as a “thank you” for your support in their mission trip.
Evening Worship Service will be held tonight at Bentheim Reformed Church at 6 pm. Pastor Jake Porter will lead the worship service. The evening services for July will be hosted by our church.
Town Hall meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at 6 pm in the church fellowship hall. Come and share your ideas for the future of HCRC.
Church Movie Night will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at 6:30 pm. The movie, “Inside Out” will be shown in the fellowship hall.
Newsletter articles for the July / August issue are due today and should be placed in the newsletter box in the narthex.

Welcome Back to our Youth Mission Team and leaders. This morning they will lead us in worship and share of their experiences in Staten Island, New York.
Town Hall Meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 28 starting at 6 pm. Come with ideas and also be updated on Hamilton CRC. The movie, “Inside Out” will follow at 6 :30 pm.
Small Group Bible Study ~ will meet on Tuesday, July 1 at Max & Jan’s home at 7 pm. Our lesson is #6, “Praying Our Salvation”.
July Evening Worship Services will be held at our church. Next Sunday evening, July 2, the service will be led by Rev. Jeff Polet, professor of Political Science at Hope College. He will presenting a message on the relationship of Christians and Politics.
Infant Needs Pantry ~ The Love INC Infant Baby Needs Pantry drive for donations has been coming along
well – but is still in need of a few things. Items needed are: baby wipes, lotion, shampoo, baby oil, bottles, baby wash, larger afghans for girls and boys, rattles or small toys. Each year baskets for newborns are given to expecting moms or new moms. These baskets are greatly appreciated and are a loving gesture. The pantry is coordinated by Bentheim Reformed Church and blesses the lives of the youngest who are precious in His sight! If you would like to donate items for these baskets, your donations can be brought to the Love INC office in Hamilton.

Pray for Inspire 2017 ~ Inspire 2017 is a conference to connect people from across the 1,000+ churches in the Christian Reformed Church for three days of worship, workshops, speakers and conversation. As we plan and prepare for this event, happening August 3-5 in Detroit, Michigan, please join us in praying for the event and all who will attend. This week, please pray for the worship team member Josh Rodriguez. Pray for him as he helps plan and lead worship, as he interacts with others at Inspire 2017. Pray that the times of worshipping together will bring glory to God and blessing to those praising him.
Tim Zimmerman and the King’s Brass will present a concert of celebratory hymn arrangements and patriotic music at Christ Memorial Church on Sunday, July 2 at 5 pm. Secular and sacred music critics alike applaud their concerts as “superb in every way” and innovative and well played.” “Truly, an unforgettable experience!” The King’s Brass is comprised of professional musicians from across the country, who desire to use the instruments they love to lead others in praise and worship. No tickets are required, but a free-will offering will be taken.
Christian Reformed Conference Grounds (12253 Lakeshore Drive Grand Haven) is excited to welcome Timothy Noble in concert on Tuesday, July 4. We invite you to join us for this Patriotic Concert as we celebrate our freedom that we enjoy in Christ and also in our country. The doors to the Worship Center will open at 6 pm, the concert will begin at 7 pm. No tickets are needed however a free-will offering will be taken to help offset our music ministry. Be sure to come early and enjoy a delicious BBQ Ribs dinner. Your dinner will be complete with sides and beverage.
Volunteer Opportunity in Grand Rapids ~ The CRCNA workplace a 1700 – 28th Street, Grand Rapids is undergoing a building wide office space “shuffle” and we need your help! We are in need of talented and wiling volunteers to help move cubicles, patch / paint walls, and transfer boxes to new office spaces.
