Dylan Fitts, two-year-old son of Matt and Erin, continues with testing for health issues.  Remember this family with your prayers of love and support.

Hazel Geurink is at Holland Hospital.  Pray that she may gain strength to return to Rest Haven.  The family ask at this time for no visitors, but cards and prayers are appreciated.

OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

 Morning Service ~ This morning Pastor Jake will lead us in worship continuing with the stories of Exodus.  Following morning worship we will have a thanks reception for Fred Mireles , our retiring custodian and Betty Wabeke who has retired as the GATE director.  We thank Fred and Betty for their years of ministry to HCRC.  Join us for cake  and refreshments  in the fellowship hall.

Evening Service will be held tonight at 6 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church.

Congregational Meeting will be held on Wednesday, July 13 at 7 pm in the church sanctuary.  A copy of the proposal that will be voted on is available in your church mailbox.  If you are unable to attend the meeting, absentee ballots are available from any Elder.  All professing members, 18 years and older are encouraged to attend.

Church Potluck will be held on Saturday, July 16 a Tri-Ponds Campground.  The supper will be at 5:30 pm and you will need to bring meat for the grill, a dish to share, beverage and table service.  Come early and join with those of your church family at the campground.

Requested & Expanded Announcements

 Church Meeting ~ There will be a congregational meeting on Wednesday, July 13 at 7 pm.  The sheet explaining the proposal is available in your church mailbox.  The Deacons ask all professing members, 18-years and older, to attend the meeting to be updated on the finances of HCRC.  If you are unable to attend, absentee ballots are available from any Council member.

Small Group Bible Study will be held on Tuesday, July 26 at Royal Park Atrium.  Our lesson will be Episode 2  on pages 67 and 68.

Church Cook-Out will be held on Sunday, July 31 following morning worship in Pastor Jake & Kris’ backyard. Bring a dish to share, meat and everything else will be provided.

Building Offering ~ Building Project Challenge amount to date is $3,659.00 towards our goal of $20,000 by October 1.

Back Pack Ministry ~ Back-to-school supplies and backpacks are needed for Love INC Back Pack Ministry.  Your donations can be placed in the school box in the fellowship hall until August 19.

Backyard Bible Clubs ~ Touching Young Lives in our Neighborhood ~ Hamilton CRC and Haven Reformed are partnering with Child Evangelism Fellowship to offer Backyard Bible Clubs July 25-29.  If you would like to help with a club for a day for 90 minutes (5-12 years old) or provide transportation between Hamilton and Allegan for a 17 year-old leader, contact Phil Knoll at 751.8521.

Christian Reformed Conference Grounds in Grand Haven invites you to a concert by Singing Hims.  The concert begins at 7 pm, but you are welcome to come early for a delicious dinner served in the Sunshine Room from 5 – 6:30 pm.  No tickets are needed for the concert, however a free-will offering will be taken to help defray the cost of the music ministry.

Bible League Retreat ~ Invite a friend and plan to come to a unique retreat designed to glorify God through music and great speakers and to renew and uplift all who attend.  This exciting event is being planned for you on Thursday, September 8 at the Friendship Christian Reformed Church in Byron Center and is hosted by Bible League International.  Information on this retreat is available by the church mailboxes.

Vacation Bible School ~

Cave Quest ~ Overisel Reformed Church will be hosting Vacation Bible School on July 11-14 (6:15 – 8:1 5 pm).  For registration forms and more information go to www.orcministries.org.

                Barnyard Roundup will be held on July 11-14 from 6 – 8 pm at Bentheim Reformed Church (3997 – 48th Street).  Children 5 years old through those entering 5th grade are invited to join us for Bible stories, crafts, games and snacks.  Parents – please come in with your child to register on the first day they are able to attend.  A carnival with games, food and fun will be held on Friday, July 15.

Backyard Bible Club will be July 25- 29 for ages 5- 12 (morning and afternoon sessions) hosted by Haven Reformed and Hamilton CRC in partnership with Child Evangelism Fellowship of Allegan County.

God’s Plan for You (GP4U=J) will be July 26-28 from 6 pm – 8:15 pm at Hamilton Reformed Church.

Cross Training will be held for students going into 6th through 9th grade on July 11-14 from 6:15 – 8:15 pm at The Hall in Overisel.  Sign-up by emailing ty@orcministries.org.  All teen-agers are invited.
