Mission Week ~ Next Sunday we will celebrate Mission Week. Rev. Edward Okiror of World Renew will lead the morning worship. We will celebrate Worldwide Communion at this service. The October 8 morning service will be led by Rev. Sarah Farkas of Forgotten Man Mission.

Newsletter ~ Information for the October church newsletter can be placed in the newsletter box in the narthex today.

Noisy Offering ~ The Sunday School children thank you for giving to the “noisy offering” during the morning service. For the months of September and October they have chosen to purchase wheelchairs for people in Nigeria and farm animals for various countries through the World Renew Gift Catalog. Through the two weeks of giving they already are able to purchase a wheelchair.

Pick-Up for Jesus Transportation ~ As a church we want to open our doors to children of the community to come on Sunday mornings to hear of Jesus love through Sunday School. We need willing adults to volunteer to pick-up children at their home on Sunday mornings, sit with them until dismissed for Sunday School and bring them home. If you would be willing to volunteer, please sign the sheet at the Welcome Table. We need to plant the seed of Jesus in these children.

Fellowship Night will be Wednesday, September 27. A supper will be from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. Cadets and Youth Group will meet at 6:30 pm. The DVD “Israel’s Mission” will be shown for others. A nursery will be provided.

Boys’s Cadets ~ We will be meeting on Wednesday, September 27 at 6:30 pm at the clubhouse. This will be an information and get-acquainted meeting. All boys in grades 1st – 6th grade are encouraged to be part of this program where we study God’s Word, do fun projects and work on merit badges.

Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, October 3 at 7 pm at Max & Jan’s house. Our lesson is “Praying Our Death”, Psalm 90.

Congregational Meeting will be held on Sunday, October 8 following the morning service. We will be voting on hiring Zena Walters as a part-time youth leader. A detail letter explaining this proposal is in your church mailboxes.

Life Chain 2017 ~ Join Right to Life of Holland Area at the National Life Chain on Sunday, October 1 from 2-3 pm beginning near 16th Street and Fairbanks in Holland. Life Chain is a pro-life, peaceful, prayerful, public witness on behalf of the unborn at risk of elective abortion. Signs to hold during the prayer vigil will be provided. This is a prayer vigil so we do ask for those who attend to be fairly silent or to speak quietly. For more information go to www.rtlofholland.org.

Harvest Festival at Dunningville Reformed Church will be held on Saturday, October 7. A dinner of soups, BBQ sandwiches, hot dogs, pies and other desserts and beverages will be served from 5 – 6:30 pm.
