OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Morning Service ~ This morning Pastor Jake will lead us in worship. We conclude our Mission Emphasis Sunday and continue with our Community Series – The Way of the Alongsider.
Faith Promise Misson Pledge Cards will be collected during our morning offering.
Sunday School for Pre-K – 4th grade will be dismissed during the worship service; Middle and High School youth will meet following the service in the youth room.
Mission Trip Meeting will be held following the morning service in the Council Room. Anyone, of all ages, interested in a mission trip to Logan, West Virgina should attend this meeting. We will be considering dates and cost.
Worldwide Communion will be celebrated next Sunday morning. We will join together with all Christians around the world to celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus.

Community Worship Series ~ We continue with our 6th Community Series entitled The Ways of the Alongsider. This series will show and teach us what is really means to be a disciple of Jesus.

The community churches involved in this series are: Dunningville Reformed, Benthiem Reformed, Overisel Reformed, Overisel Christian Reformed, Hamilton Christian Reformed, Hamilton Reformed, Haven Reformed, Harvest Bible Fellowship, East Saugatuck Christian Reformed, Gibson Christian Reformed, Diamond Springs Wesleyan.
Faith Promise Mission Pledge Cards are available in your church mailbox and at the Welcome Table. They will be collected during the morning service as we renew our pledge for our missionaries.
Mission Trip Meeting ~ If you are interested in being a part of a Mission Trip to Logan, West Virginia there will be a meeting today in the Council Room following the morning service. This mission trip will be for everyone of all ages.
GATE Volunteer Orientation meeting will be held on Thursday, October 1 at 7 pm in the fellowship hall. If you enjoy working with middle school students and available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45 – 5:30 pm (you do not have to be there for the entire time) then the GATE Ministry needs you.
Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, October 6 at 10 am in the Council Room. We will discuss Lesson 2 – He Walked On Water. If you would like to join in this discussion and need a study book contact Naomi Olson. All ladies are welcome.
Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, October 6 at 7 pm at the Royal Park Atrium. We will be discussing Lesson 1 from our new study book, Matthew, “What’s In a Name”.
Fellowship Night ~ October 14 will be the start of our first Fellowship Night. For this night we will be having a Wild Game Potluck. There will be four categories for which to enter for prizes: 1. – Sea; 2 – Air; 3 – Untraditional; 4 – Four Legs.
Community Hymn Sing will be held on Sunday, October 18 at 6 pm at our church. Big Band of Praise will be leading us in song. This Christian group of musicians is dedicated to connecting listeners by presenting the Love of God through song and testimony. Invite a friend.
Cookies are needed for the Community Service at Hamilton High School on Sunday, October 18. Our church is responsible for providing cookies and refreshments for this service. If you would be willing to donate cookies, please sign the sheet in the fellowship hall.

Classis Holland will meet on Thursday, October 1 at Faith CRC beginning at 12 noon. Our church delegates are Pastor Jake and Berend Bergman. At this meeting they will have the candidate exam of Ms. Jenna Brandsen and Ms. Sarah Stryd. Remember these two candidates in prayer as they prepare for examination and for the direction of which God will use them.
Hamilton Flu Clinic will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 6 – 8 pm at the Overisel Fire Station (142nd Ave) and on Wednesday, September 30, 9 – 11 am at the Bentheim Fire Station (38th St). The vaccine cost $20 or free with medicare Part B card. Anyone ages 4 and up are able to receive the flu shot.
Life Chain for Right to Life of Holland Area will be held on Sunday, October 4, 2 – 3 pm. in front of Langeland Sterenberg Funeral Home on 16th Street in Holland. Life Chain is a peaceful and prayerful public witness of pro-life individuals standing for 60 minutes for our nation and for an end to abortion. Signs to hold during the prayer vigil will be provided.
Harvest Festival will be held at Dunningville Reformed Church on Saturday, October 3. Dinner will be from 5 – 6:30 pm with the auction at 6:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Fall Leadership Kick-Off has a new name. It is now the Ephesians 4:12 Fall Conference. Its motto is “to help churches and individual members to discover, develop and deploy the manifold riches received from Christ and to use them in building up the body of Christ”. The conference will be held on Thursday, October 1 at the Zeeland Christian Middle School, time – 6:15 – 9:30 pm. The keynote speaker will be Rev. Dale Cooper, chaplain of Calvin College. There will be various seminars on topics of Prayer, Evangelism, Worship, Deacons, Elders, Church Renewal, Spiritual Gifts, Spiritual Warfare, Teaching, Youth Ministries, Calling and Discernment, Keys to Mentoring. A brochure with a complete list of seminars is available on the Welcome Table. If you would like to attend, please fill out the registration form and turn it into the church office by September 28. This leadership conference is hosted by Classis Holland, Zeeland and Georgetown.
