Youth Mission Trip ~ Our youth group will be leaving at 5 pm for their mission trip to Ludington, Michigan. They will be
working through N2N under Habitat for Humanity of Mason County and Lakeshore Food Club for this mission trip. Their days will consist of working on building projects and at the local food pantry from Monday through Thursday and return home on Friday. They will be staying at a local church in Ludington. Today at 4:45 pm we will gather at the church parking lot to send them off with prayer. Everyone is invited to join for this time. They also ask for your prayers throughout the week that Jesus may shine through them and they will grow in their faith life.
Evening Worship Service ~ Our evening worship service tonight will be led by Pastor Ron Lugten of Hamilton Reformed Church. We will worship with Hamilton Reformed and Bentheim Reformed at 6 pm at our church.
Next Sunday morning we will have the celebration of Holy Communion. This week prepare your heart for this
celebration that Jesus has saved you from your sins. A thank offering will be received for Faith Promise Mission.
Home-bound communion visits will be on Wednesday, June 20.
Small Group Bible Study will be held on Tuesday, July 3 at 7 pm. The lesson is #8, “Imagining the New Heaven and New Earth”, from our study books.
Newsletter ~ The July / August church newsletter information is due next Sunday, June 24 and may be placed in the newsletter box in the narthex.
Community Vacation Bible School will be Monday, July 23 – Wednesday, July 25, 6 – 8:30 pm at Hamilton Reformed
Church. Our church is co-hosting these three nights with Hamilton Reformed. We are in need of more adult volunteers to help on these three nights. Sign-up at the Welcome Table if you can help out.
Garage Sale ~ The Youth Group is planning a garage sale sometime in August. They are in need of gently used items for
this sale. If you have good used items that you no longer need that would be good for this sale they can be placed in the classroom in the basement. Proceeds from this sale will be for next year’s mission trip to Colorado.
Fellowship ~ Cookies are always needed for fellowship time following the morning worship service. Your cookie
donations may be home-made or store-bought, avoid cookies with any type of nut or peanut butter, and may be left in the church kitchen before the morning service. Thank you for your help with this service.
GATE After School Ministry ~ The GATE is in need of volunteers to donate meals for their summer gatherings on
June 21, July 5, 19 and August 2 and 16. If you are interested in providing a meal for the 6th – 8th graders that come to the GATE please contact Whitney at thegateministry117@gmail.com or call 616.741.1596. Continue to pray for the students, volunteers and ministry as we continue to build relationships this summer and upcoming school year.
Hungry for Christ Distribution will be held at Haven Reformed Church on Wednesday, June 20. Volunteers are needed
for various tasks from 11:30 am – 1:30 pm. If you can help contact Marilyn Dykstra at MarilynJDykstra@yahoo.com or 269.751.8169. It is a fun couple of hours of helping those in need.
Love INC needs volunteers to help with Life Skills classes held on Thursday evenings. Volunteers are needed in the
children’s ministry, nursery, adult classes, meals and other areas. You can volunteer weekly, monthly, or whatever you are available. For more information contact Jean at 269.751.2533 or loveincje@frontier.com. Walk alongside a community member who needs support.
