We express sympathy to Berend & Nancy Bergman in the death of Nancy’s brother, Jerry Van Slooten who passed away on Monday, December 29. Visitaton will be held today from 2 – 4 pm at the Mulder Funeral Home (32nd Street – Holland) with the funeral on Monday at 11 am at First Reformed Church.
“Joyce Suh was able to return home on December 20 following her surgery for breast cancer. Her recovery is remarkable and she is getting ready to return to work at school this week, as the school resumes from holidays. We were able to spend time together last week as a family, for which we are thankful. Looking back at 2014, we are filled with thanksgiving for the way in which the Lord has shown grace and mercy to us. We are entering the new year with confidence and anticipation. I pray that the Hamilton CRC family would experience His rich blessings this year. I pray also that with your new pastor, the church would be refreshed and the relationships would be strengthened.” ~Gil & Joyce Suh Family

Asia – A missionary in Asia returned to the seminary where he teaches after being away for studies. He was over joyed to find out that some of his former students were inspired by his classes and had started a new outreach program for sharing the Gospel.
Mexico – Nine people recently joined the Montebello church in Mexico and shared their powerful testimonies. “Reflecting on the trials and troubles these people had to surmount, I’m amazed that they would come to Christ.” Shared a CRWM missionary. “This only happens by the grace of God.”
