Thank You ~ Dear Hamilton CRC, Please accept our heartfelt “thank-you” from Hungry for Christ for your monetary gift, partnership and support. It is because of people like you that together we are able to bless so many. Your gift is a gift that keeps on giving. One area Backpack Coordinator recently shared with us that had been supplying food to a family for several years. When the family did not sign up this year, the coordinator was concerned. The mother informed them that they “we’re doing great, the Lord has blessed us and we no longer need the help”. She wanted to give back… she knitted hats and scarves for another program that is affiliated with the school to be given as Christmas presents to families in the community who were struggling. This is a gift that keeps on giving. Another act of kindness from the volunteers who distribute food for our Family Night program are often blessed by the expressions of gratitude from people we serve. Recently a woman, with tears streaming down her face, told a volunteer that without the food she receives from Hungry for Christ, she would not know another way to feed her family. She then added that this had been the first Thanksgiving in a very long time she was able to serve her family a turkey, one she had received from Hungry for Christ.
