OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Worship Service ~ The morning service will be led by Pastor Jacob Porter. We will be celebrating the sacrament of baptism for Charlie Elizabeth Kozak, infant daughter of Renae Turner and Alex Kozak.
Sunday School classes will meet this morning. Pre-K – 4th grade will be dismissed during the morning service and 5th – 12th grade will meet following morning worship. Next Sunday, May 17 we will wrap up our season of Sunday School.
Graduation Fellowship Night will be held on Wednesday, May 13. The supper will be held from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. We will be having hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill. Please bring a side-dish to share. Cake will be provided. Help us honor our graduates by your attendance.
Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet Tuesday, May 19 at 10 am in the Council Room. We will have our Spring Session Wrap-up: Looking Back and Looking Forward. We will also be having a luncheon at Hawk’s Nest Restaurant.
Pancake Breakfast ~ Our church will be hosting the Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast on May 25 in the church fellowship hall. If you would like to help serve breakfast to the Hamilton Community sign-up in the fellowship hall. Many workers are needed to help with this project.
Community Garden Planting Night will be Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 pm. Come join us – many hands make light work. No gardening experience needed and all ages welcome. Starting with this date we will meet every Wednesday night at 6:30 pm and also on Saturday mornings (time yet to be decided) so you will have two choices to join in the fun.

Noisy Offering Thank You ~ “So let heaven rejoice, let earth be jubilant, and pass the word among the nations, “God Reigns!” He is on His way to put things right!” I Chronicles 16:32-33. Thank you for joining World Renew in “putting things right” by giving to the 2014-25 Gift Catalog. You have chosen to use what God has given you to come alongside your brothers and sisters in Christ who are struggling as a result of poverty, hunger and injustice. Right now, your support is bringing transformative change to individuals, families and whole communities. For some people that cycle of hope begins with a baby goat or a water filter. For others, it may begin with a micro loan for small business or a permanent house that gives shelter in a time of disaster. Big or small, we are humble by God’s willingness to work through us to be agents of renewal. Thank you for following God with World Renew into the lives of those who are poor through the 2014-15 Gift Catalog. Through generous hearts likes yours, great needs are being transformed into great joy! Thank you for providing goats, sheep and chickens through your noisy offering.
Fellowship Night ~ We will be honoring our graduates on Wednesday, May 13 with a fellowship supper from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. The Fellowship Team will be serving hamburgers and hot dogs on the grill. Please bring a side dish to complete the meal. Cake will be provided.
Community Breakfast will be held on Saturday, May 16 in the church fellowship hall from 8 – 9 am. Join us for a hot and hearty breakfast before starting your Saturday.
Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, May 19 at 10 am. We will have our season wrap-up and have a luncheon at Hawk’s Nest Restaurant.
Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, May 19 at 7 pm at the Royal Park Atrium. We will discuss lesson 3 – “Never Alone” in our study books.
Community Garden ~ We will be planting the garden on Wednesday, May 20 at 6:30 pm. Come and join us on the fun of gardening – no experience needed with working with dirt. We will be meeting every Wednesday evening to help maintain the garden. Come when you can to help us maintain the garden.
Youth Send-Off Service will be held on May 31 at the 9:30 am service. The youth will be leading us in worship. On June 6 they will be leaving for their mission trip to Logan, West Virginia.
Address Directory ~ We will be printing a new address directory soon. Proof pages are available in the fellowship hall for you to change or add information. Please check to make sure your email, cell phone, and address is correct.
Bible League ~ A letter from the Women’s Division of Bible League International Volunteers is in your church mailbox. Please read this letter carefully and prayerfully consider supporting their project to provide Bible study materials and Bibles to waiting believers in South America. Please respond by May 17. Together, we can strive to end the global Bible Famine helping people meet Jesus and changing lives for Him! Thank you for making an eternal difference.
Parking Lot Sale will be held on Saturday, May 16 (rain date May 30) from 8 am – 1 pm at the Hamilton Reformed Church. Vendors with crafts, rummage sale items are all part of the sale. A food concession also available.
Mom-2-Mom Sale ~ Overisel Reformed Church is sponsoring a Mom-2-Mom Sale on Saturday, May 16 from 9 am – 12 noon. We have many sellers and a few vendors including Thirty-One and LulaRoe.
Baccalaureate Service for the Hamilton High School Class of 2015 will be held on Sunday, May 17 at 2 pm at the Overisel Reformed Church. Everyone is welcome to attend.
The Lion’s Club Community Chicken BBQ will be held on Wednesday, May 20 at the Hamilton Middle School cafeteria from 4:30 – 6:30 pm. Dine-in or take-out is available. Tickets in advance are available from Stan Gates or can be purchased at the door. Thank you for your support of this community event.
Prayer Opportunities ~ Each Sunday at 9 am (Council Room) and each Wednesday at 7 am (Sanctuary).
Love INC Prayer Sheet is available on the Welcome Table. Many needs to lift before the Lord for this ministry.
Memorial Day Parade in Hamilton will be held on May 25. The parade will start at the Hamilton Middle School and conclude at the Riverside Cemetery. Details for parade participants is available in the May newsletter.
A prayer Team is also available after each morning service at the front of the sanctuary.
