Linda Prince had successful hip replacement surgery this past Monday and is recovering at home.
Bill Fitts continues to recover at Spectrium Health in Grand Rapids following lung transplant surgery.
OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Morning Worship will be led by Youth Director Jake Porter along with our Sunday School children. We also want to thank our Sunday School staff for the dedication this past season in teaching our children and youth. And thank you kids for being part of our service today.
Church Potluck will follow the morning service at 11:30 am in the church fellowship hall. Everyone is welcome to this time of fellowship as we honor our graduates and give thanks for a church season. (Please note – if you did not remember to prepare a dish to share – you are still welcome to the potluck)
Evening Worship at 6 pm will be led by Pastor John with a message from Levitius 23. The offering will be for the Love INC Food Pantry.
Alpha Outreach meets Thursday, May 22, at 6 pm for a meal followed by the DVD “What About the Church?”.
Community Garden meeting will be held following the morning service in the Council Room. Anyone who would like to help with planning, planting and maintaing the garden should come to the meeting. Help us get things “growin” so that we can share with others.
Smaall Group (Schaap) Bible will meet Tuesday, May 27 at 7 pm at Royal Park Atrium. We will discuss lesson 9 – Growing Pains.

The Baccalaureate Service of the Hamilton High School Class of 2014 will be held Sunday, May 18 at 2:30 pm at Overisel Reformed Church. Hamilton’s Graduation will be held on Thursday, May 22 at the Hamilton High School. Our graduates this year include Hope Klinkers, Daniel Linkous, Chad Schierbeek, Courtny Schierbeek, Denise Schierbeek from Hamilton High School and Zoe Wilson – West Michigan Homeschool Fine Arts. Congratulations to each of these graduates and may God bless you in the next step of your life journey.
The Lion’s Club Community Chicken BBQ will be held on Wednesday, May 21 at the Hamilton Middle School cafeteria from 4:30 – 6:30 pm. Dine-in or take-out is available. Tickets in advance are available from Stan Gates. Thank you for your support of this community event.
Volunteers are needed to help with the Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast on Monday, May 26 in our church fellowship hall. If you can help out sign-up in the fellowship hall. We are in need of more working hands to help out
Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast will be held in the church fellowship hall on May 26. Breakfast will be available from 7 – 9 am. Proceeds will be given to World Renew and Teen Life on Campus.
Hamilton’s 87th Memorial Day Parade will be held on May 26. The parade begins at the Hamilton Middle School and proceeds down 136th concluding at the Riverside Cemetery with a memorial service. You are invited to participant in the parade. Line-up begins at the Hamilton High School at 8 am with the parade starting at 9 am. Military Veterans are encouraged to be part of the parade. Come out and support this
community parade and show your appreciation for the freedom we enjoy.

Save Your Rolls for Love INC ~ This ministry is in need of your paper rolls (toilet paper, paper towels, gift wrap, etc.) for their LIFE Skills Children’s Ministry crafts projects. Please save your rolls and bring them to the Love INC office in Hamilton.
Volunteer Opportunity ~ Help is needed to prepare, serve and clean-up a simple meal for approximately 15 to 20 children on Thursday evenings at Haven Reformed Church for LIFE Skills clients through Love INC. On site time is approximately one hour (food prep can be done off-site). You can choose the frequency with which you provide and/or serve a meal. World Missions ~ For the opportunity of a lifetime – teach abroad! Christian education makes a lasting impact in the lives of children throughout the world! If you have a teaching certificate, a desire to impact young lives, and an interest in cross-cultural ministry, go to: crwm.org/teaching to explore the various schools now hiring. Pray that the needs of World Mission may be met.
Prayer Opportunities: Each Sunday at 9 am (Council Room), and each Wednesday at 7 am (Sanctuary).
A Prayer Team is available for any prayer need after each morning service at the front of the sanctuary.
Spring Weather Policy ~ The policy of the Hamilton CRC for severe weather is that any church function is cancelled when a tornado watch or warning is still in effect for the Hamilton area (Allegan County) within one hour of the starting time for any church function.
