OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

 Morning Worship Service will be led by Rev. George Vink of Bryon Center.

Community Evening Worship Service will be led by Rev. Ron Ver Wys.  Join us as we gather as a community.  The offeing will be for Leadership Resource International of which Rev. Ver Wys serves.  A nusery is provided.

Service ~ Next Sunday, July 13, our morning worship service will be led by our youth director, Jake Porter.

 

Community Service ~ Next Sunday evening Mr. Chris Walker will lead our evening worship service.  Chris is part of the New Tribes Mission and will be sharing of his work in New Guinea.

 

Church Potluck will be Saturday, July 12 at Tri Ponds Campground (north of Hamilton M-40).  The supper will be at

5:30 pm and you will need to bring meat for the grill, a dish to share, beverage and table service.  Come early and join with those of your church family camping at the campground.

Youth Outreach to the Holland Rescue Mission will not be held for the month of July, but we will be going to the mission on August 9 to serve supper.

Vacation Bible School needs lots of helpers for the nights July 21, 22, 23 and 24 being held at Haven Reformed Church.   Please see the sign-up in the fellowship hall and place your name where you would like to serve.  Many helpers are still needed to make VBS possible.

Church Camp-Out Potluck will be held on Saturday, July 12 at the Tri-Ponds Campground.  You are invited  to join your church family for this fun event.  Bring a dish to share, meat for the grill, tableware and   drinks.   Supper is at 5:30 pm.  Come early and join for a relaxing afternoon.

Young Family Night Cook-Out will be held on Friday, July 18 at 6 pm at Tim & Dawn Driesenga’s home.    Bring a dish to pass and your family and join for a night of fun. Sign-up in the fellowship hall if you plan  to attend.

Men’s Breakfast will be held Saturday, July 19 in the fellowship hall.  Breakfast is served from 8-9 am.  Join      in on a great breakfast and fellowship.

Vacation Bible School ~ Kids did you take time to register for Vacation Bible School?  Forms are available at  the VBS table in the fellowship hall.  Also for a $5 donation you can get a CD of all the fun songs that we  will be hopping and roaring to at the zoo.

Donations of various items are needed for Vacation Bible School.  Could you donate sugar cookies,  container of vanilla frosting, M&M’s (mini), container of sprinkles, tub of butter, plastic spoons and  knives, cinnamon, white bread and other items.  See the donation list in the fellowship hall.

Lakeshore Little People’s Place has free preschool opportunities for the 2014/2015 school year.  The Great   Start Readiness Program (GSRP) is a free preschool for children 4-years-old of age (prior to October 1,            2014) who meet the family income requirements.  This program will be available at the new Hamilton  South location (next to the Trestle Stop) Monday – Thursday, 8:45 – 11:45 am or 12:30 – 3:30 pm.     Tuition paid preschool and childcare for children ages 6-weeks through 5th grade will also be available.     For more information, call 616.399.9149, email llpp.office@gmail.com or visit on the web llpp.org.

Love INC ~ Do you have downed trees you would like to donate to the Love INC Firewood Ministry?  Teams  are available to cut them up (liability release required).  Contact the Love INC office at 751.2533,  ext. 109 or loveincsf@frontier.com.

Christian Reformed Conference Grounds will host Soul’d Out Quartet on Saturday, July 12 at 7 pm.  Invite  your family and friends for hear this dynamic male quartet.  Come early an enjoy a delicious Swiss steak    dinner served from 5:30 – 6:30 pm.  Tickets will also be sold for the July 26 King’s Brass and August 23  The Browns concert which will be held in the performing arts auditorium of Grand Haven High School.
