OUR CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Morning Service will be led by Pastor Jake. Sunday School for Pre-K – 4th grade will meet during worship time; 5th – 12th grade will meet after the service. Next Sunday the Pre-K – 4th grade will be practicing for the Christmas program during the Sunday School time.

Evening Service ~ Tonight we will have a Thanksgiving Hymn Sing led by Kris Porter and her mother Cindy Boes. Join us as we sing the songs and reflect on the Psalms of thankfulness to God. We have so much to be thankful for.

Ladies Guild Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, November 17 at 10 am. We will study lesson 5 – The Man Who Wouldn’t Quit. We will also be taking our Love Offering.

Small Group Bible Study will meet on Tuesday, November 17 at 7 pm at Royal Park Atrium.   We will discuss Episodo 2 & 3, Matthew 4 on pages 29-33 in our study books.

Thanksgiving Service will be held on November 26 at 9:30 am. A thank offering will be received at this service. Envelopes are available on the welcome table and in the pew racks. Also a list of ministries to consider for your thank offering is included in the November newsletter.

Love INC Pantries ~ During the month of November our church is collecting items for the Food, Personal Needs and Baby Pantries. Your items may be placed on the tables in the fellowship hall until November 29.

Thanksgiving Hymn Sing will be held tonight at 6 pm. Join us as we sing the songs of the Thanksgiving season and reflect on the Psalm of thankfulness. Following the service we will have our “Coffee With Pastor” in the fellowship hall.

Noisy Offering ~ Your “pocket change” for the Sunday School Christmas Project of giving gifts to a family in need through Love INC is very much appreciated. Our family includes a mother and four children that we will be blessing with Christmas gifts and a Christmas dinner.

Love INC Pantries ~ Remember your donations for the Food, Personal Needs and Baby Pantries of Love INC.  Your donations may be placed on the tables in the fellowship hall until November 29. Help stock the shelves of these pantries for the winter season.

Thanksgiving ~ A Thanksgiving Service will be held on November 26 at 9:30 am. At this service you are invited to bring your offering of thanks. A list a ministries for you to consider is included in the November newsletter. Envelopes for this offering are available on the Welcome Table and in the pew racks. Any undesignated gifts will go towards the General Fund Ministry.

Newsletter ~ The December newsletter articles are due on November 22 and may be placed in the newsletter box in the narthex.

Christian Reformed World Missions Calendars for 2016 are available on the Welcome Table. Each month   the calendar features a country for you to pray for.

Missionary Reception ~ Members of our congregation are cordially invited by our missionary Mike Johnson and Ascending Leaders to an afternoon reception in celebration of ten years of ministry on Wednesday, November 18, 2:30- 4:30 pm in the Grove reception room of North Street CRC in Zeeland. Refreshments and Fellowship will be from 2:30 – 3:30 pm. A presentation by Mike Johnson, including interviews with a few churches Ascending Leaders has helped is from 3:30 – 4:30. You are also invited to the Disciple-Forward workshop for church leaders conducted by Mike at the same location in the morning from 8:30 – 11:45. Churches are most helped when pastors and leaders attend together. You can register for the workshop at Eventbrite.com – search for “Discipleforward Zeeland”.

Right to Life of Holland Area’s 13th Annual Auction will be held in a new location and for one night only! It  will be held at the Holland Fish & Game Club in Zeeland on Thursday, December 3 from 5 – 8 pm and will be a silent auction.

Love INC Basic Training will be held on Monday, November 30. Anyone interested in exploring the option to mentor or lead a class at Life Skills or in the Allegan jail please contact Jean at loveincje@frontier.com. Training will be November 30 and December 7 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm at the Love INC Hamilton office. “If not me and you…then who?” These words come from Matthew West song, “Do Something”. Please take some time to look up this song on YouTube and give yourself the opportunity for God to call you to where He wants you to serve Him!

Allegan Jail has given their consent to form a Faith Pod for women. This will be the first time that Allegan Jail has had the room and resources to allow Love INC and Forgotten Man Ministries to reach into the women’s section of the jail. If God has given you a calling to reach women in jail you can register for your training by contacting Jean at loveincje@frontier.com or 269.751.2533.

Free Webinar will be held on November 17 with the topic of “Youth Ministry and Intergenerational Faith Formation”. Youth ministry programs and intergenerational faith formation are like the right and left hands that together build sturdy discipleship. Back to God Ministry International celebrates 50 years of Spanish Ministry – Thank you for your ministry shares which make is possible for Back to God Ministries International to reach millions of people like Requejo who wrote, “When my father was alive he listened to your program. After 30 years I now have the desire to personally know Christ. Now I listen to Christian radio and Internet.” Pray that this ministry continues to help people grow in faith.
